Ok good to know. We tried all those different combinations and we can still only log in with my details. We sent an email to see why we can't log in with my wife's details.

It shows the same info anyway, as you can see your wife's info, or should be able to, when you log in with the sponsor's details. Logging in with your wife's details will only show info on the applicant, and not the sponsor.

We received your application for permanent residence on December 28, 2011.

We started processing your application on October 9, 2012.

I sent off for our GCMS notes on the 9th of Oct.

I will probably request for my CAIPS file next week. Did you guys order basic or premium?

I ordered premium.

Here is a tool I found to automatically email you if your ECAS status changes. Since mine hasn't changed since November 2011, I doubt I'll get too many notifications, but thought some of you might also like to try it:

e-CAS Tracker = The free service that automatically checks e-CAS on your behalf, and emails you if anything changes

How secure is that service? I'm always hesitant to give that kind of info to a 3rd party......

Thought you might ask :) It is written by a guy who also went through the application process himself. You can search and see what people think of it on this site.

Looks like a very cool idea. Would be even better if ecas was updated regularly or even consistent for that matter!!

Our eCas status changed to "decision made" a week ago and we still have not received any communication from the embassy... I have emailed and even tried phoning them with no luck! Anybody know how long it takes them to actually find out what the decision is? I would love to be able to book our plane tickets. The suspense is killing me!

Well since they already requested your passport, its probably safe to say you've been approved...but trying to contact any CIC office for information is like watching paint dry in the rain

Hey guys, I updated about a month ago, telling you all that my husband sent in his passport on September 4th... it has now been more than a month and we have heard NOTHING. This is so irritating! Just when I thought it was just about over.... a month and half goes by and we have heard nothing. Nothing else to do but wait thought. Anyone else send their passport in recently?

We're not at the passport stage yet, but from reading through posts, and from other websites, bogota seems to be slow at getting the passports back with the visas in them. don't know why, as bogota makes passport requests only if they're going to issue the PR visa!

p.angie,

I've been waiting for my wife's passport, we sent it Aug 15, 2012. I think there are others who sent before me and still waiting.
What's your status on eCas?

94 days and counting since the passport request. This seems like quite a long time if you compare to here:
http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/family-class

But, I was browsing through other threads and medellinguy on this site thinks they are asking for the passport eariler in the process these days....
