Damn! Bucharest increased from 8 months to 9 months....

It looks like they have the quarterly update up as of 'October 24 2012'...but it didn't work out in my favour.

Paris too they ve increased it from 8 to 9 :/

They finally added Ottawa and it says 12 months, I was hoping for it to be closer to 10 but I guess that was optimistic haha

Anyway, I've been watching the April and May spreadsheets and it seems that they are chugging along because a good handful of people have their passport requests already.

How is everyone holding up so far? All of this waiting is terrible =(

It looks like they all increased. Santo Domingo is still at 14 months, which just doesn't make any sense to me because most people are completed in 7-9 months and there are more people recently being completed in 5-6 months. I don't get it! But I hope to God my husband is a PR in 5 months from when we submitted the application to cic-M.

I'm having a really really rough time right now. I pretty much had a nervous breakdown yesterday. Hopefully this week will start looking up tomorrow.

all of them :( ours, in manila philippines, from 9mos to 11... i hope that won't take long for all of us...

but still you guys only have to wait for 1 year not more then that but for my VO its 26 month islamabad pakistan

Nice to see they added Ottawa to the list. Wasn't happy about the 12 months but I think they put that so that when it is done quicker people are happier. Better to err on the side of longer. If they put a faster time they would have all of us calling to get answers as to why our particular applications weren't done.
I too have been watching the spreadsheets for March, April & May to watch the progress from Ottawa.
Patience everyone. Hang in there :)

yeah thats right....all we need is to pray and wait,,,,, :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I don't quite understand how all the increased processing times comply with Harper's Phase 2 of the family reunification plan?

But maybe because its based on 12 months previous, it has factored in the investigative and/or structural changes of the immigration department as a whole in order to implement this plan......as we all know, processing times from late 2011 were strangely long....with some strangely short..

2013 projected immigrants are targeted to be the highest number yet.....with the majority from Manila as part of the immigration discussions of Harper's visit to Manila Nov. 9....

Just hope this all means something and isn't just smoke and mirrors!

Hi all !
We got awesome news this morning from Vienna - they asked for my husband's passport to issue him a visa!!! ;D

They said he can send it by registered mail, which would take several weeks (for them to get it, issue visa, send it back), or he can come in person on Tuesdays & Thursdays mornings (which he will do this Thursday), and by the afternoon they say they try to have the visa in the passport...

I wish that this week brings you all great news also! :)

P.S. louie_ann, please add November 20th as PPR date, and there was no interview requested... thank you!

That's awesome, congrats!

My VO also went up to 16 months now. Still, in my 2nd stage AOR they said 10 to 12, and I know of people having their PRs even sooner than that. I think Canuck20 may be right; after all, these numbers mean 80% of people have gotten their answers by then. That means there's a pretty good chance we'll get ours before the official number of months have passed.

I think they just put up the number of months to process to protect themselves - if they say 5 months for example, and they don't get to it or there is missing information, they would have to deal with many more e-mails and calls from people contacting them. So, i think they just try to allow themselves more time for any obstacles on the way.

Vienna's processing time was 9 months, and went up to 10 just the other day... but obviously it looks like they are working much faster...

Amazing!!! And superbly jealous!

I also agree, they probably just put higher numbers to avoid headaches and to keep us from bothering them haha

Just stay positive everyone! =) It's tough with the holidays coming up but remember it will all be worth it once it's all said and done.

Well said shylox!
Though they've added up months, we still have to think positive!
Yay, but still sad though.. Haha

It looks like Ottawa is working on applications received in March & April. That is the best I can decifer from the spreadsheets. I'm making the assumption that most Buffalo applications were transferred to Ottawa after the Buffalo office closed.

Thanks to all the people who keep the spreadsheets updated. Great work on our behalf.

With the holidays approaching I know it is tough to be patient but keep smiling and stay positive.

For all the American applicants and sponsors.....HAPPY THANKSGIVING :)
