Hey guys,

Yes you are right the VO processing times are due to update on November 20th. However that said, the last 2 updates have actually been published 1 month later than the due date (March 20th was updated April 20th and July 20th was updated August 20th). I don't want to dampen spirits but I would certainly suggest by previous updates that it will not be published for view until December 20th.

Hopefully fingers crossed I am wrong and it is updated next week but dont get your hopes up too high.

It seems like CIC is working on a new 'image' of being fast and effective, so hopefully sticking to their timelines is part of it

A month after my sponsorship was approved.
I was getting worried that our file was sent to the wrong Visa Office... but if finally came...

I wonder if they will add some sort of timeline for Ottawa when they update the timelines on the 20th. I hope so, because we are all kind of in the dark here not knowing any kind of timeframe.

I've seen quite a few people who have gotten through in 6-8 months(including sponsorship approval) though so that's very optimistic =)

So i got that e-mail as a forward to my correct e-mail address... It doesn't look like Canada and Vienna "communicate" when agents in Canada make a mistake on their end, and then fix it.

We have good news also. My boyfriend (sponsor) recieved a letter from Quebec. His undertaking is approved and I received my Quebec selection certificate. Now we only have to wait for Vienna.

My sponsorship undertaking was approved a month ago and my representative told me that the file was sent to Singapore for next step.

I am also eagerly waiting to see if the timeline for processing has improved.

Damn! Bucharest increased from 8 months to 9 months....

It looks like they have the quarterly update up as of 'October 24 2012'...but it didn't work out in my favour.
