Just for a frame of reference for others, on the 7th I was told I would receive my interview invitation, and I have not yet.
Hoping they contact me soon, waiting for this final thing is hard!

Is the time that you received an interview invitation the time the local office phoned you?
No....the phone call I received was before decision made. Interview invitation was via email only.

It says they have sent me a letter by mail. Will that be something related to my refund for the overpayment?
They have made their decision on the principal applicant side last week, Now I am waiting for the interview invitation. It seems it takes a longer time to receive one for me or for BC applicants in general.

Good day,
I just got a message from CIC about eligibility passed!

It says

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent
residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class.

Furthermore, we are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada office in Winnipeg will contact you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application.

Does it mean I don’t need to give them any criminal record from Canada?

You don't need to provide Canadian criminal record. They can get it for themselves.

So we've been hoping for some good news as the other people have gotten... we hadn't had an update for the background check or anything. Today we got a request letter for an "incomplete IMM5669 form" as well as additional information regarding a minor criminal offence that we disclosed during the initial app. Problem is, we've looked over the imm5669 form meticulously and can't find anything wrong or incomplete about it. We're in contact now with the jurisdiction for additional paperwork to provide for IRCC regarding that incident. Ugh!

Yeah but I heard that CIC require that sometimes although they can see it themselves.

Thanks for answer though!
You are right, they can ask for the “Canadian Criminal Record Check based on Fingerprint” when they find a person who has the same name and date of birth as you. They asked me to provide it and it was a fast process made by RCMP in Ottawa (3-10 days).

Now I am only waiting for my police certificate from Mexico and it takes around 3 months :/
