No. I mean from the September applicants how many have had their bkg starte already? A rough percentage?
I think September applicants are the only one that do not update their spreadsheet.

Hi my bg check strted two days aftr AOR..
So i dnt think it means anything..and that was the last i heard frm them. Complete silence after that. About 4 mnths

In that case I guess it doesn't mean anything...!!!

I have always been in bad luck with CIC. when I wanted to apply for visa, they closed their embassy 2 days before I wanted to submit my documest and I had to send them to Turkey. This caused a long delay in my application and I could not get visa on time. I deferred my admission for one semester and because of that I could not apply under phd stream and I had to apply under Express entry. Then I could apply for EE. but I got my IELTS results about 2 days late so I was not between the march applicants who were invited with 450. I got the invitation in July. My husband found out that FBI check takes 3 months at least and I had to wait 2 months to submit my application. Then I submitted in September. And the government decided to do some humanitarian work and bring 10000 refugees. Then the new government came and they decided to bring even more. Then they could not meet their deadline and they extended their deadline to the end of February.

All this is while all my friends who received their visa on time, applued under phd stream and had tge results in less than 6 months and now many of them are already PR for around 1 year!!! I am still waiting here looking at the only spreadsheet that does not update!!!!!

GCMS notes were requested on 8th Dec,2015.Got GCMS on 7th Jan,2016.Agent review is attached:

***AGENT REVEW ***POLICE CERTIFICATES R10 OK All police certificates on application; following PC’s NRT India, Canada. EDUCATION DOCUMENTS ECA report verified on issuing agency website; foreign credential confirmed on ECA site.ECA Canadian Equivalency Summary reported by issuing agency as WES. Credential is consistent with level of education claimed by PA under EE Eligibility. SPOUSE’S EDUCATION ECA report verified on issuing agency website; foreign credential confirmed on ECA site. ECA Canadian Equivalency Summary reported by issuing agency as WES. Credential is consistent with level of education claimed by SP under EE Eligibility. AGE Applicant’s age reviewed and no change from ITA to e-APR.Request letter for Schedule A re Statutory Question for PA and spouse sent via My CIC.

Can u plz confirm that ur GCMS note is till December 8th or til 7th January or in other words are these GCMS one month old update of latest ?

It's identical to yours. Last notes on 21 October and due date weirdly set for December 2016
