Hi Everyone,
I need some clarification regarding my Canadian visa application tracker.
When I checked my contact details in the tracker, I noticed that it is still showing the information from my 2015 application (old phone number, old residential address, and incorrect country of birth), not my current details.
My question is:
Should I just go ahead and submit the webform update anyway, or is there another proper way to fix this?
Thanks in advance for your guidance.
I need some clarification regarding my Canadian visa application tracker.
- I am a citizen of Country Y but I was born in Country X.
- Back in 2015, I applied for a study permit from Country X . That application was refused, and I never reapplied at the time.
- For the past three years, I have been living in Country Z. On July 29th, I submitted a visitor visa (CAN+) application, which is still in process.
- I was facing issues creating a tracker account, but today I managed to log in by selecting Country Y as my country of birth.
When I checked my contact details in the tracker, I noticed that it is still showing the information from my 2015 application (old phone number, old residential address, and incorrect country of birth), not my current details.
My question is:
- How can I update my details in the tracker?
- I thought of submitting a webform, but the update section asks for: “Enter the date this new address comes into effect.”
- The problem is that my current details were already valid before I submitted my new application, so I’m not sure what date I should enter.
Should I just go ahead and submit the webform update anyway, or is there another proper way to fix this?
Thanks in advance for your guidance.
