Congrats to those who are getting updates from CIC. I submitted my application on JUly 14. No update after Medical Passed Hope to get positive updates soon. Good luck to everyone who are in same boat as mine

Same situation here mate. Still waiting for an update after Medical Passed. My guess is that we have to wait for around 2 to 3 months for a BG check.

I have passed my medical today but I have not got any other notification. Normally, I have seen in other applicant's cases that they get their background check status updated or ECAS in progress updated the same day. This has not happened in my case. What can be the reason??? Any answer please.

CIC processes are quite irregular. Your case is perfectly normal. Dont worry.

one should really not go by the timeline in their MyCIC account or ECAS... it is very irregular...

just to give you an example.... my colleague submitted her file on May 6th after getting ITA on March 20th... Medicals passed early and rest everything was haywire... she was stressing out... on the morning of July 29th (a week ago) she got her PPR... 83 days after submission... once she sent her passport.... today she showed me everything is her MyCIC shows passed/completed and decision made....

Reading the stories from other successful applicants made me realise "All of them had a long wait of atleast 80 days"

That is true. the avg time is 3 months until you get the status change after the BG review in progress. however there are people how got the PPR request in less than 60 days. it is very uncertain. CIC mentioned that this year there will be more of the application completed which are from the previous years to fill the quota of 2015 immigrants. i believe we have to wait around 5 months to see PPR requests.

I submitted application on July 13, and got medical passed on July 29, but I have got 2nd AOR till now, neither the Ecas.
Can I ask through which program you applied the PR?

Yea I am EE applicant. Got ITA in 1st draw but my application got rejected due to missing documents on June 1st 2015. Got another ITA on 12th June and my status is in process in cic login and ecas.

Got access in ecas. But interestingly, no status is available in it. It just says "If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status.". I think I need to wait couple of more days to see the status of my application.

Are you sure it doesn't show anything further down on the same screen? Look for a field called 'Permanent Residence Application Status'.
