Hi All

Here's my timeline

1st application was cancelled due to missing document. (Didn't upload both my university degree certificate AND my ECA)
Submitted – May 13
Medical Passed – June 12
Cancelled – June 16

2nd application
Submitted – July 28
1st AOR – July 28
Request for additional documents (CELPIP certificate) – August 6

My current visa expires in October and I don't anticipate having my 2nd AOR to apply for a BOWP by then, so I'm going to try and do what others have and apply via post and go onto implied status. My question is, if I'm on implied status, am I allowed to leave Canada – or more importantly, if I leave the country will they let me back in?

DONT go anywhere just apply BOWP with current AOR paper application
1. You get approx90 days legally
2. If lucky you will get WP

Update:

Applied July 6 (after a refusal for document translation)
July 15 CIC update asking for CELPIP results
July 16 CELPIP results provided
July 19 ECAS activated. Application Received. 3 Lines
Aug 5 Police certificate required by CIC. My country requires PC after submit the application, not before. This would take me around 30 days aprox, they give me 60 days.

Also this new line in ECAS.

We sent you correspondence on August 5, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Wish me luck guys

you can leave anytime but you cannot reenter until you have valid visa......

If I leave the country while waiting for the PR (after getting the AOR but before the PPR), does it impact my application in any way?

Hi all,

I submitted my profile and got my first AOR on 1st July. But my background check didn't even started still. I am wondering what is going wrong.

Thanks.

what about your medicals? Have you got ECAS access yet?

Thanks Saj.

I got medical passed around 10th July. On 13th July, they asked for CELPIP certificate. I uploaded the next day. In ECAS, it says "Application Received".

Thanks.

can you share , which kind of application was it , FSW,CEC,FST or pnp

and NOC of your client?

I"d love to but people here think I'm promoting my business which I'm not as no one knows who I am . It is sad that I always help applicants here and when I post something positive about someone else no one sees the positive side of it.

I think your case is pretty normal. Just wait for around 2 more months.
