Hi everyone,
My GCMS noted in the Eligibility section: PASSED-Candidate as Oct 18, 2020. (AOR Oct 5, 2020).
However, on my CIC account, the Eligibility section shows as We are reviewing whether you meet...requirement.
What should I follow, the note or CIC account?

On your MyCIC account the status will remain as "We are reviewing whether you meet" until your application is approved and the COPR is issued.

GCMS is the most accurate info. If it says passed-candidate, then your eligibility has not yet been started. see #2,521

@legalfalcon please what's the difference between Case Analyst and Case Processing Agent. My notes is by a Case Processing Agent. Regarding my eligibility, should I expect a note by the Case Analyst next or will it be the Officer.

Thank you.

It can be by either by a agent, an analyst or assistant. This is will be reviewed by an officer now.

See the officer's notes in the last 3-5 pages. That is where the notes are.

Based on page 2 assessments, it seems that your eligibility is not yet conclusively passed.

It can be a bit confusing atimes, look for something like this in your notes section of the Gcms file, if you don't see something like this then an officer has not passed your application as yet

@legalfalcon @caipsnotes ....hope you both are in best of your health!
Please find attached screenshots of my GCMS notes. Request you to please advise.

Is my file conclusively passed?
Also where in GCMS can I find whether the file has been moved to a local visa office for PPR?

Your application is approved. Congratulations.
I'm on the same stage with same details.
My application is approved as well along with the same primary and secondary VO as you.

Three simple steps to read your GCMS notes:

1. Verify that they are your notes by checking your application number, your name and date of birth on page 1.

2. See page 2 for the assessments. This is the overview of your application stages. To read on stages, see https://bit.ly/35xhKw6

3. Then flip to the last 3-5 pages, this is where the notes entered by the immigration officers are and will provide you with the details.

Once done, you will have a clear grip of your application and then you can read in details about the assessments and calculations and the incoming and outgoing documents which will be in the middle of your notes.

Check your note if it is by an officer or an assistant to an analyst. You can compare it with my previous post at #2,521

To read on security and the security screening manual see https://bit.ly/35zk5oJ

If your eligibility has an officer's note, then it is passed.

Thankyou legalfalcon & Meharpreet13

@legalfalcon I have thoroughly gone through this group to analyse my GCMS.

However I still have few doubt:

1) Under officer review (screenshot attached) .... Why does File Approved has "?" whereas under Assessment it says Final : Approved.

What does it mean?

2) As per details on First Page (screenshot attached), last update on my file was on 30/04/2020.
How to check whether my file been moved to NDVO for PPR or is it still has some approval left?

If your assessment on page 2 says approved, then your application is approved. Just wait for further instructions from IRCC.

Dear @legalfalcon,
Firstly, I apologize for a long post as I am totally new to the forum. I have found you and few others very actively supporting with valuable information to many applicants, which is just Awesome. I have read too many things posted by you but i am confused on few things, for which I need your assistance.

  • I am a PNP (alberta) applicant with AOR on 22nd Feb 2020. I had ordered GCMS which i recvd in Oct. My eligibility and medicals are shown as "Passed" in page 2 of GCMS, but Security & Criminality not yet begun. There is nothing mentioned as s15 or s16 in any page. Please see below link for Image 1 & 2.

  • Also, as per GCMS, there were total 9 assessments for me, and the status shows as Passed - Candidate. Does this confirm that all of my educational, language, employment and other documents have been verified and I am considered as passed? There is one section which shows eligibility, work experience as 0. What does this mean? Please see the below link

  • In the end I have a review, but it does not says anything regarding the employment records. Is it normal or another review will update this? Please see the below link. Do you think there is any assessment balance after this or it is a final review.

Recently, I received a request for a updated PCC as I have moved to a new country last year. This is an update recieved after very long time. Does this mean that I have cleared the eligibility stage and now my criminality and security is under process??

Thanks alot in advance for your patience to read through.

SM.

@mahimav your file is approved; that's great! Just wait to hear from IRCC for the next steps

Additionally, the GCMS file that you received should be yours without a doubt, you can certainly check the application number and date of birth on page 1 but the likelihood that you received someone else's file from IRCC is extremely low. Such issues more often lie with the GCMS provider emailing the wrong file and not with IRCC.
