MICC - So far waited 13 Business Days since application received (Advised 20 Business Days not including mail time)


Btw - The CIC website still shows received for both Sponsorship Status and Permanent Resident Status and I have not received an In Process Letter or Email.

Does anyone know whether the MICC send the Quebec Selection Certificate decision by regular mail or by a service in which a signature is required to accept delivery?

I know I could pick it up from the post office but I'd prefer to get it right away if it is to be signed for.

They send it through regular mail...just like CIC is sending the PR Card...

Ok thanks, I just thought as the QSC and the Permenant Resident Card are official documents that they wouldn't just send them in regular.

Oh well thanks anyway, makes things easier for me.

Im waiting for my CSQ (Sent it January 9 so hope I'll get it soon) but I want to go do my medical while waiting, can I do it?? or I have to wait for instructions from them?

Second question is: - I live in Montreal and I found REALLY BAD reviews about Clinique médicale Luso, is the one that is closest to where I live, did any of you went there? how was your experience?
In general how much does it cost to do the exams? is it a standar rate or depends on the clinic?

What kind of bad reviews? I did everything there. They kept me there for 2 ours but did everything. They had the new forms.

The only thing was on that the person who filled the forms made some spelling mistakes and corrected it with liquidpaper, with freaked me out but he sent the forms like this. they were just 2 typos he corrected.

What is that you heard bad about them? I hope they send my app to the goverment.

I used Luso and I found it to be amazing, very quick and they did everything thoroughly. Very friendly people too, multilingual. It cost me less than my previous medical exams had cost, $200 total.

How long did it take between the time you sent your papers to MICC and when you received the CSQ? ???

I sent mine (actually brought them to the office) 3 weeks ago Thursday, so I am curious. :'(
