Sponsoring husband from Morocco

I have some news. My husband went for his interview. After 2 hours of the lady asking him tons about our relationship she told him, no I'm not giving it to you. She could tell by the look on his face he was devastated. It was a test forsure. 5 minutes later she told him that she will allow him to come to Canada.

He went into another room and got the Canadian visa in his passport that day.

Hope others will hear good news soon too!

hello guys im new here well Congratulations to those whom get the chance to be with their husbands and wives well guys i just got married with the love of my life and shes from canada
my question is that i have no idea from where to start to follow her and even her she has no idea what she should do ?
we just got married abt 20 days ago
so please can anyone help me here and tell me abt all the process

I read 3 different posts about people getting an email saying they had to be available in Canada by the phone for 3 hours from the interview starting in Rabat. One woman said they never ended up calling her, but her husband later received an email saying he passed the interview. Another woman said they called her and asked her questions about her husband (the same questions they asked her husband about her), but she forgot 1 of his jobs or degrees, and he said one of her children's name wrong or twice (I am not sure if anything else happened), but they ended up getting a rejection letter. Another woman said they called her just to confirm some of the answers her husband gave about her in the interview and they passed. I don't think they always call people even though they send the email - just if they have questions that they cannot confirm on the application and other proofs that were sent in. It could also be that they don't want the sponsor to show up at the interview - so they tell them they have to stay by the phone in Canada. They may be afraid the sponsor will cause a scene if their spouse comes out upset or saying they didn't pass the interview.

I wish you all the best of luck. We had proofs from 2014 and up and I was there 7 trips, staying 6 weeks, 2 months, 3 months. We had hundreds of photos from our travels in morocco, and our humanity work that we did together with medical teams helping the sick and poor. The VO changed his story about us 4 times on 4 different documents, fabricating his story. All in all we have been together since 2014 and this journey only made our love stronger. I'm so happy that you won your appeal,it's so sad that they refuse husbands and wives on there own judgment and not how much proof or love that you show to the interviewer,they shouldn't have that much authority to when you are sponsoring a partner,it's a terrible shame when you have to go to court and prove what you already shown them,I'm so happy you won your appeal, congratulations to you both

Hi Jomz. Yes very long time lol. Seems like it’s been ages since we’ve gone through the process. I come to read the thread from time to time and I see that things are a bit different from when we applied. I don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing lol. Yes all is well thankfully. Just busy with work. My husband is officially a Canadian citizen. He’s been home to visit a few times now. Hope all is good with you too. I often wonder how everyone is doing, it would be nice if someone came to post an update from time to time
