    Parent Sponsorship Quebec Lawyers

In person drop off was never allowed. So if they eliminate local couriers everyone would have to send by regular courier or post. One other item that should be addressed is the income requirement. The current income requirement is too low. Also it’s baffling why sponsors are allowed to live...

    Parent Sponsorship Quebec Lawyers

IMO they should just go back to paper application when the system opens and not accept private couriers. This would even the odds and take away the GTA advantage. Not ideal but better than the lottery or last years filing of online intention.

    Successful stories ...

... and yes as canuk_in_uk mentioned, it is certain your husband will have an in person interview. In Morocco all applicants in mixed marriages are called for interview. My husband had one too, luckily it was quick 20 min of chit chatting lol and the visa officer congratulated us on our...

    Successful stories ...

Congratulations on your marriage and sending in the application. The hard part is the wait! We had successful sponsorship in 2013/14, so a while back now. My husband is Moroccan as well, and we had an age difference, I’m 5 years older. Back in 2013/14 applications in Rabat were being...

    problems with visa

Could CEC be an option? I’m not fully versed in economic programs but I know someone who obtained their PR through the CEC program and it was actually fairly easy. Maybe give this a try. But as Scylla mentioned you want to remain in legal status so changing from worker to visitor status is a...

Caught in a car argument, is that illegal?

My bad. I only had experience with Ontario Was told that police can’t charge there even if someone for example is driving without seatbelt in a back lane. But I guess I should have been better aware that Alberta and possibly other provinces don’t share the same laws with Ontario Thanks...

    Language test. ? ID issue

Not crucial documents to be honest. They are travel documents and if one doesn’t travel no need to keep them unexpired. The most crucial documents are drivers license, SIN and health card while living in Canada. All government agencies accept drivers license as ID, citizenship application...

    Language test. ? ID issue

That’s the problem too. My husbands home country passport is expired lol So I guess we will have to waste time and money to renew his PR card first. I am checking also to see if we can get letter from his college that his diploma language of instruction was in french , if we can get that...

    Language test. ? ID issue

hi everyone. Quick question if anyone knows. My husband will be applying for citizenship soon (has 6 yrs in Canada already) . For the language test, the testing center said he needs an unexpired PR card which I find ridiculous. His PR card expired and he didnt renew because he didn’t need it...

Caught in a car argument, is that illegal?

Nothing to worry about. But as others have said never follow anyone , for your own safety. There has been many incidents where it turned physical and you definitely want to avoid that. Also As this happened in a parking lot, even with video police cannot ticket you as parking lots are...

Canadian Marrying Immigrant on Overstayed Visa

I say, let her go to Poland with him. Or insist she should live with him here, it may help her see what real life is all about. If after living together for 1 year she’s still happy with the relationship than just maybe he’s not in it just for Canadian status. Personally I know a Polish guy...

    Husband denied visa to Canada

To the OP I would advise you to continue your appeal instead of re-applying if in fact those were the only reasons for denial of the visa. Very likely you would be granted an ADR instead a full appeal hearing and wait times in ADRs are usually less than 1 year. To those commenting that not...

    Unusual Spousel sponsership

If she has good ties to her country she can try apply for visitor visa and once in Canada she can live with you for 1 yr (she’ll need to extend her visitor status but that’s rarely a problem) and after you apply for sponsorship via the common law route. Or you go live with her for 1 year.

    Unusual Spousel sponsership

Really sad you don’t even know the actual rules. You can divorce her 2 times without having her to remarry with someone else. Only after 3rd divorce of the same wife she is not lawful to you and she must marry someone else before can marry back with you.
