In February they will clear CEC backlog. With those resources (15 000 CEC processed in month) they can clear PNP backlog for less than 3 months.
45K is the EE backlog. PNP is 15K. At 2K per months at this rate, PNP backlog will be cleared in 8 months.

Guys let’s create a petition against IRCC to count our wasted time towards our Canadian citizenship. If they cannot deliver in time / on time decision without any explanation then IRCC should compensate us for the delay. Please share your thoughts.

It is not gonna happen. They would need to change the whole law for this so 100% no one gonna bother.

Endorsed. Are you writing the petition? It will be beneficial for hundreds of thousands of applicants who have been affected due to delayed processing by IRCC over the last 2 years.

Unfortunately it is the worst place you can land.
Most likely they won’t do anything and then transfer your application to another office after like 6 months. This is what happened to many ee PNP in this thread.

Yeah they will have to change the whole law only if they see that they are lacking and are not able to satisfy the immigration process. This change could be considered if we try to raise our voices not just in this forum but with something that catches their or ministerial attraction. We can’t just sit here and think oh it’s never gonna happen because they have to change the whole process.
Of course they should consider it as million immigrants got affected by this delay. Change is not gonna come in a plate neither to IRCC not to us.

We must raise our voice for this. It doesn’t require additional resources by IRCC. It just requires consideration by law makers and if they’re convinced they make the amendment. This is the only small relief that IRCC can offer to several hundred thousand applicants who got affected due to IRCC’s mismanagement aka Covid-19 related delays. For myself I am determined I’ll never vote for liberals in my lifetime. But if I get this small relief I’ll vote based on performance be it conservatives, liberals or NDP

Did you complain to the Commissioner by any chance?
I got the
GCMS NOTES UPDATE - I got reply today saying the consent form which I attached with my request was outdated but I know that I sent an updated one but want to get my notes ASAP, hence, sent a new one. Requested these notes from IRCC on 19 nov.
