Guys anyone applied to PGWP under new policy?
My BOWP expires in may 2021 and when called CIC they mentioned i will be eligible for PGWP 18months under new policy as my old PGWP expired in jul2020..And the agent suggested to go to PGWP instead of BOWP where the officer cannot be guarenteed for subsequent extensions. As my PR is still processing there shouldnt be any issue with BOWP but who knows..so im bending more towards PGWP and did anyone gone through same process and got approved?

same question
Buddy i got to know one person who applied recently PGWP and got approved in a week...check this link...i have gone through conditions for eligibilty in IRCC website as long as your PGWP expired on or after jan2020 and u staying in canada on or after jan21,2021 you will be eligible to apply before jul27,2021 even if you are currently on any open work permit doesnt matter u can get extension for 18months from date of approval or until validity of ur passport whichever comes first..

I just received my GCMS notes. My application(AOR May 16) has not been touched since July. I am so sick and tired of this effin' BS. Months and months no any single update in the notes. Like just do something any activity and so, I can wait more patiently by knowing a fact that my application is actually in progress rather than considering it has been lost or something! Just stuck with the background check. It is just so nerve-racking.

Dont worry bud most of us from May who didnt recieve any final decision are in same situation...mine wasnt touched from aug 2020..Atleast we got this forum to release our frustation...but nothing besides we have to move our files...emailed my local MP and recieved reply saying we will send an enquiry on behalf of you...and im assuming they may get back to me saying criminality still in process...which doesnt do anything good..but will update if i see any change..

Thanks man! yes please let us know what's gonna be outcome on that. Just there is no explanation some Q3/Q4 people already got their COPR whereas Q1/Q2 are still stuck with background check for months. All I can think we have been ignored or something. It is just unbelievable.

Mine AOR is May 23rd requested notes 3 weeks ago, nothing yet. This is really terrible service from IRCC. And I don't think they care how their neglect to process our files affects our lives.
