Here is a quick summary of our situation:
My spouses employment ended, end we forgot to update our EE profile. 1 month later his experience added upto 5 years (our dumb luck) and added 1 more point and we got an ITA with our score same as the cut off score so that point unfortunately matters.
He got an updated english exam after the ITA and increased his score so we have enough points for original ITA even after fixing his employment and removing that 1 point.
Should we write and explanation letter ? Or should we not even submit this way ? I feel like as long as we write an explanation and have enough points we should be good but I wanted to check what everyone else thinks ?
