I didn’t receive any notification of completion of studies prior to June. I thought I had 180 days to apply, so the 90/91 day thing is pure coincidence.
I applied in September and I don’t know when I’ll hear back in order to apply for a restoration.
Technically you're out of status according to number of days.
You should've applied for restoration+ pgwp.

The exact day my degree was conferred is not mentioned on the letter or transcript. So I don’t know if they’ll request the specific date.

You could submit a new restoration+pgwp app, cancel this pending one.
It may take a long time before you hear from IRCC, also since you're without status you should stop working if you didn't.
Again, call IRCC and see what they suggest, or even visit your school imm officers.

I think my case is complicated because there are a lot of reasons that’ll lead to the rejection of the application. I did submit a LOE for the undeclared unauthorized work I did.
I did get in touch with the school’s immigration consultant but she said I should be able to apply for a restoration IF they give me a rejection before December. I don’t know how fast they’re processing applications nowadays.

I believe you can even cancel your current application and submit a new one with restoration. Again, talk with IRCC. See what they recommend.
The thing is, if you wait too long, and cross the 180 days mark, you lose your chance of applying PGWP. Unless you go to school again.

Hi,
Am I in trouble for working part-time on-campus (see point 2 below) before applying for PGWP (see point 5 below)?
If yes, What can/should I do to fix my situation? Thank you in advance.

1) Final Exam date -- Fri 23/Aug/2019
2) Started Part-Time Professor position at the same college on Wed 4/Sep/2019. A 13hrs/week contract.
3) Course Completion Letter issued and received == Thu 12/Sep/2019 == 1 Year Ontario College Certificate == Completion Date in the letter is 24/Aug/2019
4) Official Transcript issued == Tue 17/Sep/2019
5) Applied online for PGWP == Mon 7/Oct/2019 == my imm5710e shows I started working as per point 2
6) Study Permit expires == Sat 30/Nov/2019

Hi I'm in the same boat as you. I completed my program at May 15 and got PGWP May 30 (flagpole). During that time I was helping in my graduate advisor's lab to wrap up projects. Only after the PGWP I realized what I did at the lab was more employment than casual help. Now trying to apply CEC and I'm really worried that it might affect my application.

Since you got you PGWP with no issues, do you think it's a better option to be honest in my application about this unauthorized work & write a letter to explain it? Would the officers kindly be okay with me starting work before PGWP? Thanks a lot & really appreciate your thoughts!

Hello,
Just like most of the people here I am in the same boat too,
I applied for pgwp on 20th June
Study permit expired on 31st July so well before expiration I had applied for pgwp
Got my graduation letter on 2nd June.
I started working full time from 1st June.
basically 12 days of unauthorised work (if you remove the weekends + 1 sick day I had taken
my question is that I feel that my job comes under essential service as I was working as a billing agent for a pest control company. Now that the link you provided under the finance section my job duties were
“Workers who are needed to support financial transactions, advice, and services”
And
“Workers who support financial operations, such as those staffing processing data and security operations centres and other control functions”
Because of these points I feel I was working under essential services but I don’t know. Plus I worked 40 hours instead of 20. It’s really starting to worry me now because I haven’t still got my pgwp and other who applied later have got theirs. Is there anything I can do now or just wait ?

I'm pretty sure you're classified as an essential worker so you'd definitely be fine! I also had some unauthorised work but mine was before the order came through to let international kids work full time! I called a lawyer and she said that most likely it would not be a problem in any way, and I also submitted a Letter of Explanation just to admit to my mistake and make sure they knew.

I applied on the 18th of June from Ontario too so I'd say you're fine, it's just taking them time to work through the applications.

Thanks a lot did you get your approval? Also if I was working under essential service did that meant that I was allowed to work full time un authorised ?

I haven't yet! I only applied two days before you and so far I think applications from Ontario are somewhat delayed! But yes you were allowed to work full time hours!

Alright awesome. Under you full application status did anything change like background check or medical exam status?
