What is aor2 mean?mine says we started processing dec 3 2019

Guys I am literally feeling depressed now. I heard someone talked to an MP in Canada, and she said that all cases are just on hold and that no cases are even being processed right now and that there is no prediction as to when they will start processing them again. :( this is so unfair.
Damn.... :(:(:(:(

AoR2 is an acknowledgement of receipt of application by Visa Office, where your give transfers for further processing. Every VO doesn't send AoR2. In case, the applicant doesn't receive the AoR2, then he considers the change of 2nd line of ECAS status as AoR2

exactly, I'm interested to know the source. if it is not official then we should avoid posting such comments else we all will be in a panic state.
Yup! I’ve been seeing a lot of people post stuff which is causing panic. We all need to be positive through these difficult times.

Do share the source for such news along with the news to avoid panic amongst others.

They are still processing apps, some countries VO's might be closed but Missisauga and Sydney are working at probably reduced capacity so expect delays. Even if you did get your PPR now you can't travel to Canada with the current restrictions. We are all in the same boat. Have patience.

I know, I’m sorry if I cause any panic but We shouldn’t be panicking, because this COVID situation is very real and we need to be realistic and prepared for the measures the government has to take for everyone’s safety. Don’t worry guys we are all in this together.

The source where I heard this from was a London Visa Office group on WhatsApp, someone had called an MP to ask about the processing of applications. I want to post a screenshot but I don’t know how to on this forum. o_O if anyone knows how to post screenshots here then do tell, I’ll share it with you guys :)

12 weeks and we haven’t gotten pre arrivals letter yet :( getting processed at London vo

My application remains 17 weeks in estimated process until today. How about the rest of yours here?

If you are talking about that blue line that people think shows the progress on GCkey, it does NOT show the progress of your app, it only shows how much time is left of the 1 year normal processing time. It means nothing , they shouldn't even have it there, just causes a lot of confusion for many people.

I know the application process time is estimated about a year, not exactly limited in a year. And the process time is different for each application. No one will be confused with that. But it does not mean nothing, at least it's a time measure.
