Hello i live in Alberta. Can i apply for PNP and express entry at the same time?

There are two categories in AINP. One is AINP for express entry candidates. For this category, you only create express entry profile and do not apply directly to the AINP. AINp issue ita based on your profile’s connections to the province of Alberta. So if you create express entry profile and consider Alberta as your destination province in Canada; you will be automatically considered but your elegibility will be determined based on your previous education, work history, family connections in Alberta. Or unless your profession is one of highly required in Alberta.

if you apply directly to the AINP in any other stream, then you have to submit a paper application, which in my knowledge doesn’t qualify for the express entry.

but yes you can apply both applications at the same time. AINP as well as express entry profile.

If you are willing to start your Canada immigration process through Express Entry Canada, there are underline certain evitable key steps which you need to follow up. Basically, it is an online immigration program which deals with three economic immigration programs of Federal skilled worker program (FSWP), Federal skilled trade program (FSTP) and of Canadian Experience class (CEC). To apply, you need to go through from the following steps as:

• Check if you are eligible under any economic program of Express Entry Canada.
• Get you all required documents kit ready once you find out to become eligible in Express Entry program.
• Submit your Express Entry profile with all correct and relevant information.
• Get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and further apply for Canada permanent residence.

Express Entry Canada will mostly complete your entire process within 6 months or more. On receiving an ITA from Canada, you will have 60 days to submit your application for permanent residence along with required fees and documents. To be eligible for FSWP stream, you must obtain at least 67 points out of 100 that based on five selection factors of your age, education, work experience, language scores and adaptability factors.

My CRS score is 473 and I'm planning to add my profile in the pool on April 1st(I have to wait coz of my experience completion). Can anyone please suggest me what are the chances of receiving an invite in the next draw with my current CRS score. I'm applying from BC.

Also, how long the process usually takes for getting the RCMP clearance here in BC. I know everyone says the after invite process usually takes around 6 months but what if we submit all the documents within first 2 weeks of invite - would that make any time difference in your PR processing?

i got owner operator approved LMIA job offer, that gives me upto 200 points for EE, how does one get PNP with such job offer?

I have 3 jobs. Out of which 2 doesn’t qualify for adding to my crs score. Is it ok if I delete those from my work history. Or these must be added. My score has already achieved and I am hoping to receive ita in next draw.

Hi Members.

I have recently received the invitation for PR through Express Entry. However, I cannot book an appointment for the upfront medical exam because of COVID-19.. Is anyone else facing the similar situation? Can someone please help in answering the following questions:

1) When will the via medical services start taking medical exams?
2) Can I submit the the application without the Medical exam, given that I still have about 60 days left to complete the application?
3) Do we have a direct email, contact number etc. where we can get this info directly from IRCC?
4) The Web Forum Enquiries says that they will not respond to queries if the application submission deadline is not passed yet. Can I still go ahead and ask the same questions from them?

Hey! I am applying for PR under CEC stream. I have been living in Canada since I was 16 years old (for almost 5 years now). After filling in the details post ITA I got the document list but their is no slot for PCC. Not sure why? Please help!

Hi, please I studied Biomedical Technology but has 2.5 years work experience as an administrative manager. Will this be a problem?
Also, how do I proof work experience, is it just by a reference letter or there are other things I need to provide. Cos I was being paid in cash (things we see in my country? And do I still need to be working when I submit my profile for express entry?

Hello, need some assistance. I received my ITA. My husband I got all our documents ready before hand however one of our police certificates has expired in March. Now that all the government offices are closed in our country, should we upload the expired certificates with a letter of explanation that we will upload them as soon as the offices open (on ground or online) and process our request?

Yes we always need to provide medical and police checks before submission of express entry application after you got your ITA. All these documents come in required eligibility criteria so we have to provide them to complete our application for further process
