I thought everyone undergoes security screening but going through comments in the link, it looks like only a few are selected. How do I know if my application got into additional SS? I just know that my eligibility, criminality, medicals completed based on my previous enquiries so I just assumed only security is pending.
Call, webform(with direct question), or gsm notes.

Also does your application online shows any of this "my eligibility, criminality, medicals completed"? cos i got ppr and my application still shows everything in progress.

Thanks. I just know that my eligibility, criminality, medicals completed based on my web form previous enquiries. I have raised another web form to specifically ask whether I got the special treatment for security screening

Gananoque, here as well, I was the only one in the office!
If you are landing inland as a CEC applicant, do you need anything other than Passport, CoPR, Current work permit / proof of implied status? Heard that you may need a proof of fund, but CEC does not have a POF requirement.

For those who are already PR....I'm just curious..

I know that when you get a PPR, you have to send your photo along with the passport. IRCC photo specification states that it should be taken within six months. I have photos with me which was taken back in May 2019 for the PR application, do I need to have our photos taken again then? Considering that it's more than 6 mos. old?

Lol is that a problem take pictures? If you read ppr message it states what picture need to be. there is date, size, name of place, ur name, and ur bd.
If you have pictures exact needed dimensions with exact ur head ratio no date on the back. You might can use them if you put info on the back side of a picture.
But lol what's problem of doing new pictures, in 2020 you get them in like less then 10 min.

Beware It is common to get your passport back without visa if your pictures got rejected. I know indirectly few cases. So do you need the hassle?

Dude that's a curious question... Since most people here have gotten their PPR in more than 6 months. Is it bad to ask this kind of question if one just wants to have an idea from other's personal experience? I don't think it is!

Of course I know I can get a photo taken and get it in less than 5 minutes!

LOL! LOL!

You can definitely ignore my question rather than answer in a sarcastic way.

Other people here have been so nice in answering questions even the most random ones

If it's the same picture you submitted with your application, i would not use it because they would know that it's older than 6 months.

So better to err on the side of caution and get another photo taken.

I know it's sort of a hassle but i wouldn't take a chance with it.

got an update about re medical yesterday. however previous one was done in april....... why so plzzzzz help
Basically, you passed everything now (call them to confirm this) and before sending PPR if your medical validity is less than 3 months they either extend the medical or request a new one.
