Mine is July 27th, so no hope for me. Its been so hard to watch people zoom pqst me when i have been at this since october.
I understand the frustration. I just give up on checking this forum and MYCIC. I sent an email to Kingston yesterday and got a response this morning so that's a good thing. I just ordered the CGM notes I need to know what's taking so long.

hello everyone its been awhile since I checked in, just a quick reminder
app received April 26/18 you all know the rest takes forever blah blah blah, we hit a road block and had to apply for criminal rehab back in June/19 it has been the most difficult 15 months of my life but July 10/19 we received a call to attend the high commission again (og interview happened in Feb/19) and I am happy to say my husband received his PR today he will be landing in few weeks. Those of you who are still waiting or recently applied all I can say is hold on it feels like an eternity and some days you sit and stare at a gckey that never seems to change but the feeling you get when it finally happens there are just no words for I am still in shock lol
Good luck to everyone, if anyone needs help I will be more then happy to share because the people I met on here are honestly what got me thru this whole process. Much love and gratitude

Hello guys,

I have a question regarding passport submission and hope someone in this forum can provide advice.

Applied under CEC Express Entry. I reside in Canada and my spouse is in Jamaica. Now that we have received PPR, I got two emails. The first led me to believe I could send our passports to Ottawa. However the second email titled "Ready for Visa-Please use this letter if you or your accompanying dependants are currently residing in JAMAICA" made me confused because it would imply that we both send our passports to the visa office in Kingston JA. Or, maybe I send mine to Ottawa and he sends his to Kingston JA.

I am visiting him in JA for this week so I want to know if I should take back his passport or do we just have him submit his documents here and I send my documents to Ottawa. Sending my passport to Jamaica once I am back in Canada is not an ideal option.

Does anyone know the right procedure here or was in a similar situation?

Any feedback is welcomed.
