WES ECA status on Hold

To add into my frustrations -
My college communicated that they received verification mail from WES on 12th June and they have responded. I communicated the same to WES on 13th June. The customer care guy mentioned that it would take 1-2 business days to get further update.
Now I received an e-mail from WES saying that they have not received any response from the college as of today
This is really frustrating....I will check with the college tomorrow if they received any failure notification against the delivery of email...

Hi @nikesh25 , completely identify with your predicament! My husband was in the same situation all of last week - simply because it is not clear to issuing institutions which ID they have to send the verification confirmation to! I’ve looped you in on a separate conversation where the verification email is shared, so you can guide your institute on which ID to send their response to. Best of luck!To add into my frustrations -

Hello @Nishika22 Just wanted to let you know my account status hold has been removed and my ECA evaluation date given is 6/26. Any updates on yours ? Please let me know.Thanks @Jaywalker, certainly looks like it’s a huge issue with many aspirants affected. I’ll post my experience there as well, so we can all benefit from lesssons learnt

My husband’s account has also progressed from ‘on hold’ to a scheduled completion date of 19th June. Let’s see if they can meet the promised deadline THIS time at least!!!@Nishika22. Oh wow, thats great news. Any tips on how you guys manage to get the completion date so close. My status just got updated today 6/18 but the completion date they gave me is more than 1 week later. Earlier hold was put on 6/7 and completion was 6/15. I just want to get ITA in next 6/27 draw. I hope we make it. What's your situation?Looks like things are falling in place for all of us
I think updated due date is dependent upon your earlier due date. They are clearly trying to expedite for people whose due date was earlier. My due date was 8th June and the status changed to "On Hold" on 7th June. Now once they received the verification- they have given me a due date of 19 June which is today.
Thanks a lot for this information, will help a lot once my institute receives the verification request email for second time. I have not been able to get that done yet, even after submitting another request through Contact Us mentioning the URL to my institute's Contact page and sending private message on Twitter yesterday. Will call them again today once they open.
@Nishika22, can you please confirm if your husband also got a second VDR email once WES had sent the second verification request to his institute. Then I'll call my institute only after that, have already called them 3 times during this busy New Registration time.
Nopes, he just got the one VDR email, and there was no second alert even when the institute confirmed they had received the email. Another thing, do check if anybody in the institution has received the email, not just the person who’s supposed to. In my husband’s case, the GM of Administration received the email, instead of the Controller of Examinations. Best of luck with getting the email sent - I do feel you’ve been left hanging in there long enough
Yup @burm7793, I think @Jaywalker has explained the case perfectly. However, I’m not really pinning my hopes on the revised completion date, especially the nearly-there ones. We already have a case with a promised ECA report date of 18th June (following verification on the same date) where WES was unable to adhere to their commitment. They’re simply too flooded with verification recording and processing to move on to the next step - ECA reports.

Our application is on hold by WES. Surprisingly, out institute of post graduation has 3 times submitted the verification but as mail received from WES is auto mailer - the reply email from my institute is getting undelivered.
