Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

Can someone tells me if only the primary applicant is able to link his CIC account to the apllication ? Or the sponsor can link as well ?

I contacted about OWP since application was recieved September 5th and they said it everything is fine with application and they will contact if they need anything else.
Still worried about it since its late but not sure what else to do

I would call again and ask to speak to a manager. Very strange you don’t have it yet. Be a little bit pushy.

If you’re an August applicant you should have your OWP by now. If you don’t there is a problem, either you don’t qualify for one or they lost your application. Either way I would call them Monday.

I only applied for PR in August. I sent my OWP separately to Vergeville in December, not heard anything from them yet though.

I'm also an August PR applicant that sent the OWP application along with it and have not heard anything about the OWP either. I tried calling them and couldn't get through, but it sounded like they haven't even reviewed my eligibility or done anything yet. :/

Wouldn't worry about that - it will take 4 months from when you submit your OWP application

Thank you so much for your helpful answer and I hope I didn't disturb your day.
Now, for those who really care:
I called CIC and they recommended me to do a medical exam upfront and just add it to my work application through the Webform. Otherwise, the Open permit that I will receive will be limited and I won't be able to work in the health field, and I will need to send a new application to change the conditions of my Open work permit. I read other forums as well and It sounds about right.

you can send your medical via web form the other option is to wait for OWP and then bring your medical to the border and they will print you a new one. probably easier to submit it via web form

what is webform?

what is the process to bring to border? Go to any border crossing and go inside? I will have similar situation with my wife - will want to get the health restriction removed...does she have to cross the border (seems risky, and I don't want to risk her being stopped from re-entering)

So happy today as i received my AOR and able to link PR application and OWP with no problems.

Here is my timeline:
Application Sent: November 23, 2017
Application Received: November 27, 2017
AOR Received: January 12, 2018
Schedule A and PCC sent: January 12, 2018

Quick question, for applicants working in the health care field, how did you go about your OWP without restrictions?

Following! My husband has a Master of Pharmacy and I'm only just learned about the restrictions on OWPs... Now I'm worried he won't be able to get work in any area of his field of study until he gets PR...

I have a question i submitted my schedule a and police certificate but i forgot to add one police certificate from a country i lived in how can i get this new cert to CIC

When you call CIC and enter your app details to check the status, it notifies :

If your app was received after October 26th 2016, it is not yet being processed.
Current processing time is 14 months.

I really wish they stick to 12 month processing time.

We are june 6 2017 and nothing here yet except the PCC in July. Backround check went into process Nov 20th

Exactly the same timeline here, medical was upfront, PCC and schedule A submitted right after linking the application. Background check started 20th Nov. And since then nothing.
