If you were commin to Toronto i would consider that an added advantage.

For Ottawa you have made the right choice
Since it is the Capital, most of the jobs do require English and french knowledge is my guess...or at least gives you a super edge.

Oh my god this wait is insane... I feel like I'm going to go crazy!!!.. actually... I am!!!! I miss my hubby so much... I'm probably going to miss his birthday...and then Diwali....who knows!!!
My hubby wrote to the Prime minister and the MP and they both have responded back positively. The prime minister's office can't do anything but have said they will be forwarding the information to someone who may be of assistance to us. Praying, hoping and wishing that we all have good news soon.

You know as much as we are together with our partners by communicating and seeing each other on skype it's suffice to say that the power of touch, a hug, a kiss...all these moments are forever missed!!!!! I feel so lonely

OMG!!!!!!!!!! GUYS ND CALLED ME N ASKED FOR PASSPORT, THEY SAID DAT DEY HAV SEND ME A LETTER BUT I DDNT RECEIVED ANY. SO TOLD ME TO SEND PASSPORT,
PLZ HELP ME HOW DO I QUOTE MY FILE NUMBER N WHAT DO I ATTACH WITH IT NOW? IM SOO HAPPY

today morning, but they asked name n birthdate n all, i confirmed all dat,
n they asked me bout my file number, but i ddnt have any, i only have client id n dat too i ddnt had in my mind, so i told them to call after 15 mins, n when they called i missed the call coz of bad reception, im so worried, should i post the passport without waitin or should i confirm my client id, or should i have my file number for this?

hey ricky if they called u n asked for passport...
u can send them by DHL/ bluedart couriers....
also make sure u write proper client id if u don't have file number....+ ur address...+ new delhi address properly...
also get a reciept+tracking number from where u gonna send passport...
jst do it safely n properly...

Congratulations for your passport request
send your passport through courier and include covering letter also.write everything about the call you received today.and add your details too.
and i would suggest you to add your client id on the passport itself.i did the same when i sent my pp to them.this is just for safety purpose..in case if pp would be misplaced then they can track it easily fror client id mentioned on pp.just mention it over a chit.

we have to do what they say so no chance of visiting in person

That just sucks! How where in your passport did you write the client ID number? I didn't know you were allowed to write in your passport.
