completely unnecessary statement! you don't know this person or the situation they were put in. stop judging others and reflecting your frustrations and anger for your own circumstances on other people. Unbelievable. this process is tough on everyone. what would happen to you if your spouse made you believe your relationship was true and as soon as they landed, they ran away? Noone knows the true story here. only what the OP wrote. obviously this sponsored person did a good enough job to convince CIC the relationship was valid. Who are you to be so nasty to someone you haven't even met when CIC couldn't even detect this was a marriage of fraud!?!

um who cares. where does it say you have to post a certain amount of time in order to receive VALID support from the community? Who cares you contribute daily. for the most part your contribution is completely negative. which is so interesting considering YOU HAVE ALREADY LANDED and most of us are currently going through the process.

see point A, and how do you know what her intentions are? from MY point of view she was scammed and now wants the scammer to pay. Who wouldn't want that after all the financial and emotional strain?

Does anyone know how long it takes for an investigation to commence after reporting it to cbsa.My husband got his pr card in august 2013 and came to canada in november 2013 and left right from the airport in Vancouver, and my application was submitted in 2011 november before the new rule took in effect Oct 25 2012. I found out where he is and where he works and have proof now and evidence that his intentions were just for a PR card and submitted it all to cbsa in Jan 5 2014,the case was accepted and transffered to vancouver,much help would be appreciated

I do agree sincerely he should be punished for what he did to you. It was kind of pre-planned from his side. Just make sure that he doesn't take welfare during first three years. All the best.

Thx for Info. she was working fulltime and try to get the welfare and I informed Ontario works with all the evidence that she quit her job to get welfare and they stop her welfare and advice her to search for work and she is working now. So she is also black listed in Ontario works welfare dept as well and I also send this information to CIC and CBSA in Sworn Affidavit.

HI All,

I married and sponsor my wife to Canada and she left me 75 days after landing in Canada and now that I obtained divorce from her based on Fraud and I also informed CIC about the fraud and I got letter from CIC and they take my interview and I provided them enough evidence that her intentions was only to immigrate to Canada only not to live with me at all. Its been 1 year since my interview and I did not heard anything back from CIC so far.

If anybody please let me know is this a good sign or CIC just allow her live in Canada without telling me anything.

I really appreciate the help friends.

The application was submitted in 2011 before the new conditional PR kick in thus the PR is not conditional.

No - it does not apply to him. Whether the rule impacts a person or not depends on when CIC received their sponsorship application - not when they became a PR. See:

You are incorrect. The new PR conditional rule is based on when CIC received the application, NOT when the PR landed.

I sent the sponsorship application in 2013 December and he landed in November 2014, moved out in March 2015. He is under the new rule. I reported him in the first day of April. CBSA said they forward the case to CIC, but I didn't get any information about the case. How long it will take CIC to investigate? I also found out that he lied about his marriage history. He told me that he married twice to the same woman, had one daughter. He actually married to two different woman and has a son who he seldom visits. I heard this from his family, and I sent the chat screenshot to CBSA, what other prove can i send? I don't have the other information.

Anyone can shed me some light how will this case be investigated and how soon he can get deported?
