Travel history as in living in a country for more than 6 months.

Does this delay only the principal applicant because of police and security checks, or would it also delay the sponsor if the sponsor lived in a few different countries?

Yes - applicant only.

It's possible the approval is true. Mississauga is past February now - at least some officers. Ottawa has March. So Mississauga would start on April.

It's a bit suspicious though.

Hey i agree with you Canadian girl.... This cannot be true...I mean April when feb and March are already waiting.....I really think its BS....Someone is trying to mess all of us .....

But why are we thinking the poster lied? Didn't someone from March 27th said last week they got an AOR? When I look at February spreadsheet, I see one person got approved in 76 days, and a few others 81/82/83 mark. The rest are 90 and above. I'm just saying the fact that Feb is still not finished (very unfortunate) and that half of March is still not done, has nothing to prove no one from April can be approved.

We saw the same thing happen with March, right? Mid March approvals coming in, when a lot of people in Feb were waiting.

I really hope the OP is right. We all need some positive thinking now.

Hmmm.. do I update the spreadsheet or not? I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt, but I'm kind of leery she hasn't gave any info for the spreadsheet or contributed to this thread until now.

BCgirl does have a point though. CIC has been jumping back and forth the past month... so an April approval isn't totally impossible.

When I first saw that post, I didn't believe it. I still don't...what a horrible thing to do.

I'd say in a few days we will know. So far we've had two anomalies: on AOR from 27th of March, and one approval from April 4th. We'll see if in a few days the trend will confirm.
