it can delay anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks if not longer is some instances......the receipt goes to Mississauga and then they forward to your embassy......even if you email your embassy the receipt they have to wait for confirmation from Mississauga that the money has been processed :( inland...

the sponsorship does not need to provide that....that burden of proof is all on the applicants side....what the sponsor may do is write a letter as to why they believe their relationship is valid.....I believe that is at the bottom of the last page of the sponsor's form......it is not mandatory...

honestly mc1234......there is a very slim chance your friend's boyfriend will be granted a visitor visa....but if he does get one...no he does not need an exit permit just his visa and he of course would have to pay the $25 cuc everyone pays at the airport to leave the country......

Greeneyes...there was movement in Havana...just not for our group here!!!! My friend who applied in August her husband got the call!!!! Now I don't know of anyone who applied in September but I have a few friends from October who are waiting!!!! It is an absolutely glorious day out there...
