You need to show bank statements from the last 4 months.. this shows them that your account is active and that the money is there for the 4 months and no suspicious activity is taking place. If you deposit a large some of money today and extract statements from the bank tomorrow and submit it...

1st year tuition and first year living costs total.. if u show more.. better but.. 1 yr total fees is what they look for.

Correct me if i am wrong.. but u CAN request a up to date bank statement and letter whenever the account holder wants.. u prob might have to pay for them to fed-ex it or something to you... It will be in your best interest.. to have current bank statements attached with your application.

hey bro.. i think if you pay the fee's in advance it shows a positive note on ur application.. since under proof of funds you have the option of paying ur tuition fees. If you pay tuition fee's in advance it will show the officer ur willingness and ability to undertake such a responsibility...

But he says that he is going to pay the first yrs tuition in advance and then go to the embassy.. so how much would he have to show in his bank account after he pays the fee's? Just curious since im in a similar situation.

hey guys! how much funds would i have to show? as in my acceptance letter the total fee's are like this: Tuition $11,000 Meal, accommodations $7,500 Fee's (health plan and different pass's) $1,500 Total$ 20,000 CAD would i still have to add the $10,000 to that? sorry.. im a bit confused..
