Can someone please tell me if it is going to be difficult switching over a drivers licence, getting a bank account, a SIN number/card, and traveling to and from the states if I am not on TRV status. Do I also need to ask for a multiple entry visa?

I didn't say I was doing LCP. Please read my entire post if you are willing to reply. The employer sent in the LMO for a child care provider under an open work permit. If I don't get a TRV, how am I supposed to have a bank account, transfer my drivers license, etc.

Do you think it would be beneficial for me if I possibly applied for a visitor visa? I know that I am not required to have one being from the states but it could potentially help my case by proving to them that I am trying to do things right..

Would it be beneficial for me to possibly call the immigration office at the airport and ask them in advance or would that not be a good idea either
