For some one I know, July 19th application --- status changed to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." today, like in the last couple hours. It was not there around noon. I recently saw someone on this forum, July 21st application status changed to reviewing eligibility.

I've applied on 26th July (SDS), biometrics done on 6th August. My application status is stuck on background check. Let's hope it changes to eligibility review started in the next couple of days.

Hi All,
I have received a letter from IRCC for the provision of biometrics. I have made an account on vfs global but failed to access the calendar. I think it is happening because of the closure of vfs..
Please guide or help me what to do?
