im preparing my documents for local embassy, do i have to send the RRF or the landing fee along with my documents or do i have to wait for embassy to request for it?

No its not a must. You can delay it and pay its when they request you to pay the fee for Landing.

Finally Thomas Cook just told me that my DD was encashed on Oct 2nd. Its been 6 days since and I havent got the mail. But Charbonel and Boljet seem to have received the AOR just few days after the DD encashment. Seniors please help.

My DD also was not en-cashed yet in spite of folks who applied the same day as I did have already got their AORs. We are, probably, special

Perhaps aamirdr means he got AOR OCTOBER 8, not AUGUST 8.
