Hello Lotus_Flower,

They use ordinary mail that normally takes about 7 days to reach you from the time they dispatch it in Sydney.

So you may need to re-apply.

All the best....

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone please confirm what is the way to track the status of PR cards? Online it says it becomes available on e-cas but there is no update there. I never had any update on my case on e-cas during the Express entry processing as well. Is that okay I still dont have it there after landing too?

Also, is there any other way to track it?

Thanks,

I don't think there is a way to track it. If I knew there was, maybe my PR card would not have been lost ???

Hi Guys. I have got my PR a couple of months ago and did my landing in May and then came back to my home country (USA) in a week. My PR card was mailed to the address provided (family member) and my family member brought it to my home country in-person (so nice of him to do that). Now I am confused if I can travel using the PR card or using COPR (I am in US so can travel by land as well)? If I travel using PR card and if the immigration officer cross verify the dates on my passport then wouldn't they question me on how I got my PR card while I was outside canada? Did anyone does something similar? Please advise.

Hello guys,

I thought by now we should be getting a lot of Octoberians saying they now got the PR cards since people on this forum are saying the cards are now generally +/- 30 days?

Please let us know guys.....it makes us keep track, and gives us hope.....

Thanks all.

Hello there,

If you are outside Canada, use the COURIER address given on their website, a PO Box will not help you unless you are in Canada.

You may just conform with them first that the courier address given is correct first, of which I am sure it is, then courier.

All the best.....

Hello Uttara11,

Since you are in Canada already, you can use that address....it is for ordinary mail......but if you want to courier, then you must ude the physical address given on the website.

Which DATE actually did you land in October?

It will help us track how far they are in processing...

Cheers

CANADA POST has regular letter mail, Regular parcel, Xpresspost services. Is this address: (PO box 4500-PRC Mail Room, Nova Scotia, B1P 6L1) is usable for Xpresspost services?

Landed October 13th. New photos request 15th November.
My photos have been taken in April (more than 6 months ago), so I had to send new one (request through email).
I'm hopeful I'll receive my card in 2-3 weeks.

Hello Uttara11,

Yes...that is the one for regular mail used for Canada Post.

You only need the physical address if you use courier like DHL, FedEx etc.

All the best ...

Hi!

Does anyone know how to apply for a PR card if you are an inland applicant? After you get your passport back from Ottawa, what are you supposed to do? Since y ou cannot leave the country and re-enter without a PR card?
Any help will be appreciated!

Hi SydCarton,

You have to do what they call ''Flagpoling'' where you go to any Canada border point with your Passport and COPR, then when you reach there you must tell them that you have come to do landing procedure in order to become a PR of Canada. They(Canada Border Services Agency) will then accept you into Canada as a PR, and at that point apply for your PR Card free of charge. All you will do is to give them your address where the card will be mailed to once its ready in about a month to 2 months. Then you can go back to your place of residence once finished at that border.....it can be Niagra Falls, it can be Toronto, any border is ok.

All the best bra....

Landed on 7th october, got pr card on 15th november through ordinary mail. Still waiting for one more pr card.

Congrats on one of your PR cards....all the best with the remaining one.

Cheers
