Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

It did take around 2 months to get the card a few months ago but I started to get panic when a lot of people were getting theirs in just 3 weeks but not me. I just hope everything goes well and I can get mine soon.

So I called again this afternoon and I was lucky enough to speak to an agent who was willing to look into my file. She told me my card had been processed they were in the process of verifying the mailing address then it will be sent out. Hopefully I will be able to come back here with a good news!

The only thing you get is an envelope in the mailbox with no signature required (i.e., the cheapest mail you can get). There's no notification whatsoever, so hope for the best!

Agree! Unfortunately that's not the case for new PR cards. I keep wondering why don't they provide a pre-paid option (I'd happily have paid $20 or so, although luckily I got my card in time in Jul).

so how many days did it actually take for you? the current processing time is 41 days.

Guys, what is the average time to receive the PR card after new photos have been submitted? I remember reading 15 days.

Got my PR cards today.

Guys,

I landed Canada on 8th June, 2016 and filled all required docs and fly out from Canada on 11th july,2016 my Son PR card was delivered at my Canadian address where mine, my wife and daughter they send letter to send pics as per specs, I sent new pics which were delivered to case processing officer on 7th September, 2016 since then I am waiting , can anyone tell me how much more time should I expect for PR card delivery? How can I trace about the status?
