@jay 80: You will be applying for PR card when you land.

I am not sure what IRCC is. I am guessing it is PPR from one of the CIC office. Once you receive your passport with Immigrant visa, it shows an expiration date. You will have to perform 'landing' procedure by entering Canada before that expiration date. You will get your COPR document along with the passports. You will need to present that COPR and passport with immigrant visa when you land. During the landing you will have to hand out an application (for each applicant) to apply for a PR card to the immigration officer. I hope this is clear enough.

this is much appreciated. looking forward of getting my passport in 3 weeks time. thanks puneri_engineer

Hello guys
Landed on 09-09-2016 and I believe that Pr would take around one and half months however when I am trying to check my status now after 12 days , it shows 'Unable to find"
Is that fine ?
Thanks

My Timeline
July 2015 - Application received
August 2015 - Sent correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application (via email)
August 2015 - Started processing your application
March 30, 2016 - AIP (via email, there was no request for medical or police certificates or any other info
April 1, 2016 - Online status updated to "Medical results have been received"
April 07, 2016 - Decision made
You entered Canada at the Etobicoke office on May 11, 2016 and became a Permanent Resident.

This is my spouse Timeline. I was landed one month beofre him.
1.We received your application for permanent residence on July 2015.
2.We started processing your application on May 25, 2016.
3.Medical results have been received.
4.You entered Canada at the Etobicoke office on June 13, 2016 and became a Permanent Resident.

Permanent Residence Card received it took 48 days from landing to be completed and delivery. My spouse is still waiting on his since he was landed one month after me so it should be here soon.

I have been in contact with CIC call center for the past year by phone and I always had a very good experience with all the agents I spoke to all of them were very helpful and I always got the correct information from them. I was never dissappointed when they told me they sent email to follow up with my case or any request I had.

Received my Pr card exactly 30 days after Landing .Now its look Different from previous Pr card.whoever is going to receive pr card after 21st September will receive the same as mine.Landed on 26 th August 2016

I submitted my PR application in July! Still nothing. I was even nominated through SINP. When I log into my GC Key it says status 'open' but application status says 'not started'

Quite confusing because application processing says 41 days average. Seems a lot of people have reviewed their PR confirmation within a month! Any advice?

The only thing you get is an envelope in the mailbox with no signature required (i.e., the cheapest mail you can get). There's no notification whatsoever, so hope for the best!

Landing Date: 09-26-16
Landing Airport: Calgary

Waiting........... :'( :'(

I landed on April 20, got photo resubmission request on July 21, photos were received by CIC on Aug 18 but I still have not yet received my PR card. I'm getting worried now...Should I resend my photos again?

Can't believe that my wait for PR card is even longer than the EE process..

how are you folks?? I hope everyone getting PR cards. good luck :)

Just called CIC today and was told it would take 2-3 months to receive my PR card after I submitted my photos so I should wait for another 3-4 weeks. The agent I spoke to was not willing to look into my file so I'm thinking of calling them again later today hopefully I can speak to someone who is willing to check my application.
