I have a Question guys! For those who received their pr card, cic use the photo from when you're landing (inland application) to print on your pr card, or they use the old photo that we submitted when we first send the application? I'm kind of confused, because when I did my landing only one piece of photo was used to tap on CoPR (cic copy)

Plz help urgently:
1- i was asked to send new photos one week ago and i send 2 photos which i brought with from my own country with the specific requirments before my landing ,my question is :
1-the photos which i send was taken 3 months ago before landing by 2 days and they need it to be within 6 months so if the processing was delayed so it will pass the 6 months so they will ask me about new photos ? or they consider it valid as it was received by cic within range (6 months) and the delay of processing is the reason???!!!

2- the address of photography is in my own country as i took it before coming to canada by 2 days,so will it be refused as they need it to be taken in a canadian studio?

I received my card today (Aug 5). Quite surprising, since I landed on June 16, I am expecting to receive it by the end of August.
My time line is as shown on left.
It's time to say goodbye to this fantastic forum.
Good luck to you all!

Did you receive your card to your mail box? or you need to collect it.

You will receive it in your mail box.

Mail box without any notice. Just the most regular mail.

I believe neither you mentioned is correct. The pic they use is the one you provide with your passport/copy of passport after PPR and before COPR.
I cannot remember clearly. I recalled that I sent two photos to CIC with my passport, and one was sent back with COPR. I think the other one was used for the card.

when ECAS turns into complete? is it upon landing or by recieving PR? i landed July 2 and till now it shows decsion made!!

thanks for reply, i'm assuming you're outside canada application right? I think for the inland application is different from you, i submitted my passport and photo at the beginning of my application, the second time they asked for photos was CoPR.

Guys did you ask the photographer to write your names and DOB or did they just write their studio details?
Has anybody submitted a glossy picture and got pr card?

Since this is a CEC board, I believe you are also a CEC applicant, right? We are all considered as "outside Canada" applicants, no matter where we actually live. That's why we need a LANDING process. Actually we are saying the same photo, that the one on the card is the same one on the COPR. I sent two photos with the passport as per the requirement of "Ready for Visa" email, and one was sent back with COPR, while the other one appears on the card.
If you are not a CEC applicant, that is a totally different story. So weird, because CEC application package should not contain passports.

Sent photos again on 3rd 7pm from Vaughn, ON.
It seems like it will arrive today at Sydney, NS
3 business days total.

Let the waiting begin again...

I landed in Toronto on June 25 2016. I am still waiting for PR card. I had applied under FSW program in Dec 2014. Anyone still waiting for PR card who landed in June 2016 ?

Hello friends

My landing at Point Roberts: 20 June 2016
Wife's Landing at YVR: 21 June 2016
I received in the mail both of the PR cards yesterday the 8th of August 2016.

I came as a student to Canada back in 2014, started working right after school, did 3 work permits, 1 LMIA, 2 working visa and finally PR.
Those 2 years were intense and after lot of stress, paper work, money, time etc, the Canadian immigration chapter of my life has ended successfully.
I am sharing this to tell you guys DON'T GIVE UP! It takes lot of patience, time and hard work but if i can do it, anyone can do it.

Cheers to all of you guys out there !!
Peace and out :)

It should be fine as long as the photo specs are as per request.
