Many thanks for sharing the email ID.
I hope you will get your family card soon.

Just to let you known, in the email it says "Do not reply to this email. You will not receive a response." If you need contact with them, this email address is not a valid way to me. :(

Call CIC for the card status. You may need PRTD while return to Canada.

Just to share my timeline,

Landed April 30 at Peace Arch border in Vancouver and received card for myself and my son on July 15th. Called the call center and was told my spouse's card has a printing error and need reprint which will take another 1-2 month. Today I got an email from Permanent-Resident-Card@cic.gc.ca and was asked for photo re-submission for my spouse's card. Just to mention that the submitted photos for three of us was taken at the same time in Costco. Therefore, I guess photo re-submission request may not has to be the problem of photo size or quality. It could also happen if there is a printing error and they will need new photo to do the printing again.
Good catch. Thanks for the information.
Hopefully they correct the system soon to avoid troubling too many applicants with photo requests.

I landed with my boyfriend on April 30th, 2016 at Niagra Fall and he received his PR card on July 15th.
I called CIC to check my PR card status and they said nothing's wrong with my file but for some reason, my card hasn't been mailed out yet..........
so.... they said i need to wait for another 2-3 months...... :o

Better to call CIC to confirm....

Good luck everyone!

I called cic today, I was told that our cards where sent June 27th, 28th and 31st. We havnt got them yet. Are they sent by normal mail or do you have to sign for it. ::)
