By any chance did you call the helpline no.
I called them today and they sent me an email saying you should send the pictures again as they don't have my pictures
After how long you received the email? I called them for my case and the agent told to send me an email. Yet not received and no idea if i could still send the photos.

Guys, any more suggestions on this?

Hi there since you've said that the CIC agent you called confirmed photo resubmission, you can go about the resubmission process ASAP, make sure you send the right specs. i think it is 50 x 70, you can print the correct specifications and give it to the studio just to be sure you won't make a mistake then send it right away to Nova Scotia. There is a P.O. Box address mentioned in this thread.

Also, please check your spam messages maybe it went to your spam mail because of the attachments.

Thanks for the info. I remain optimistic that Canada Post will not go on strike. Keeping it positive. Goodluck to everyone!!!

The specs for photograph is not a problem. The main thing is the agents are easy to say things without any concern. Can I just send the photo along with a note mentioning my UCI number, DOB and Name?

My wife called them too after I called, and they said her card has been sent out in the morning. How is this possible that whoever inquires will hear the card was just sent out today?

Just a question, when your wife called CIC, was she asked for UCI no. and all security questions? because if she was asked then I believe that the information the CIC agent gave is accurate because the agent looked into the notes of the application. It just doesn't make sense that CIC agents would give inaccurate information just to satisfy the caller.

Yes, CIC confirmed for her details before proceeding with the questions.

Could you please share how long did it take for Canada post to deliver PR card (specifically from Nova Scotia to Toronto)? My time line is:

- Feb 25th: Landed
- May 18th: Got photo request
- May 25th: Photo received
- June 28th: PR card sent for production
- July 4th: PR card sent out

I am really worried for possible strike or lock out. I cannot imagine waiting for another uncertain time >:(

This is awesome news! My resubmitted photos arrived on May 26 so I hope that means mine is almost on it's way too!

From inside Canada, call

1-888-242-2100, then (after waiting a bit) select 7 (Express Entry), then 0 (representative). You should be able to speak with an agent in 5-7 min. Make sure you mention that your processing time is above 57 days (the current one displayed on IRCC's website), and they will look into your file. If not, try again, you'll find a nice agent eventually.

PS: now I saw that you are not Express Entry. You can still try the option, if not, there is another option for pre-express entry/CEC I believe.

Thanks man, I will try to call tomorrow, hopefully there will be a nice agent ;D

We are on the same boat. I called today and agent told me they sent it just this morning. I don't how long it takes from Nova Scotia to Vancouver. I hope it wont take a week. Best of luck to everyone!

Hi Skywalker09 and Mali_0,
Any reason for taking this so long? any kind of help from cic agent to understand the reason?
any pattern for which it takes time- like: arriving port of entry is different and providing the different location address for posting?

Just called, landed on May 2. He said the card had been mailed out yesterday, hopefully i can get it by the end of this week.

Just called, landed on May 3. Told me that the card was mailed out yesterday. I hope the same thing and that it arrives before a lock-out/strike!

Hi Rambe, from what I have observed in the thread. My opinion is based on people who have landed last April 2016:

Trend:

1. PR card arrives 60 - 70 days from date of landing (common/most likely/normal processing)
2. PR card arrives 42-53 days from date of landing (rare)
3. Email notification for photo resubmission 60-70 days from landing (random/no concrete evidence as to why/can happen to anyone regardless of port of entry/civil status/photo specs - old-new-/late filing of mailing address

How I wish 1st condition above applies to everyone or it would be best if 2nd condition is applied to everyone.
