No. My photos were received by cic april 6th ( resubmission) . I have called them multiple times, they say they dont see ny updates, just the photo resubmit req on 31 march after which i sent them photos on april 4. No update thereafter. No xcitement left now. Time waste of life. funny thing is the time it takes for after re submitting photos is even longer than the time it takes to process new pr card request, so stupid. They just keep piling it. Country needs a dictator. This way its derailing.

whoa.. some strong words there..
it takes approx a month after photo re-submission.
just calm down, you are not the only one they have to attend to.

guys, if they request for new photo, is it alright if your studio is out of the country? If ever, I am in UAE already as I only did short landing.

My guess is... whoever landed in 4th week March or sent photos 3rd Week of March are getting PR cards now, the last week of March can except their PR cards by next week.

Have a nice weekend.

Perfectly fine to send photos taken outside Canada.

Friend, have some patience. Currently the people whose photos received in 3rd week of March are getting PR cards. I think you will get your PR card in 3-4 weeks time from now.

Hello,

Wanted to share my good news with you, might be helpful for someone:)
I landed on November 18th in Vancouver and applied for PR cards for myself and my wife at the airport. On February 26th received a new photos request. New photos were received by CIC on March 18th.
Last week on May 7th I finally received my PR card by mail and today May 12th my wife received it as well :D

Can't believe it! 6 months of waiting and finally we got them.
So anyone who landed somewhere in fall-winter 2015, you should get your cards soon too! Good luck!

Its approx 49 days for new cards. For people who have been asked to resubmit photographs, it takes roughly a month.
And then again, there is no hard and fast rule. All these days are just an approximation.

Hi Chinna,

Congratulations on getting your PR card.

Thank you for sharing your information and timeline. Did you have the photo sent directly from UK to IRCC, Sydney, NS? Or you asked your friend to send it for you?

I am really hoping for the best and I still hope they would still send our PR card even if they will know we are outside Canada because of the photo address and stuff.

Thanks,
Alain

So it's been 4 days since my husband's PR card arrived but no sign of mine yet. I tried calling CIC all day long and could not get through! So frustrating!

Takes roughly a month after submitting the new photos? thaThough in hindsight, it was not such a good idea for French actress Laure Calamy, who appeared to forgo underwear in her thigh-split silver gown.ts the minimum .but for many cases here ,u can check it that it took 6 weeks not 30 days as it used to be.

Thanks Alain.

I've asked my friend to post the photos from Toronto. Do not worry about your current location.
As long as you meet the photo specification, IRCC would send your PRC to Canadian address which you shared with them during landing.

My photos had UK studio address and there were no issues in processing the card. Wishing you good luck :)

Cheers !!
