I think March 5 to 16 applicants are getting now. I landed on April 9th. I think we need to wait at least this month. But good news is now the processing time 49 days.

I landed on April 1st, so 1 - 2 more weeks. : )

Hi anyone can advise me on what photo specifications needed for landing? Thank you so much.

Do people need to bring pictures for landing? Is this for the ones that get the COPR on the mail? Because when my passport was requested, they also requested pictures along with it and my COPR came with the picture I had sent.

I did not bring any other pictures for landing, except the one that was already on my COPR. I was not asked any more pictures at the border. They only thing they were asking for, was all the temporary permits I've had.

You dont need any photos on landing - they use same you submitted with your passport.

However, in some cases after few weeks of landing when they process your card they send you request at your provided address to submit pictures because previous ones did not match specifications (which is stupid of them).

This request come with specifications and you can have them done for $12 at any Fortinos or Walmart with PHOTO BOOTH.

Can we find the initial PR Card application status in ECAS? I landed on April 30, but the ECAS still only show my PR application. Thanks.

Landed on March 22nd, 2016.
I received the PR card today (May 10th). So it took around 49 days since landing to receive the card.

Now the immigration process is completed.

I wish you all good luck and see you in the citizenship forum in some years.

Dear all:

Can anyone advise how much is the average processing time to receive the PR card after the re-submission of the photos.

My new photos as per the new specifications were received by CIC on March 29th, and there is no response.

I called CIC twice today and they didn't entertained much, instead asked me to wait.

Thanks!

Landed January 3rd. New photo request March 10th, photos were received March 17th. Caled CIC yesterday and they said my card was shipped last Friday. Halleluja.
A journey of exactly 2 years has ended, of which most of the time was spent waiting and paying more money for additional work permits as well as being stuck inside the country on implied status and for the last five months due to the missing PR card.. Funny is that my excitement about getting the PR card has diminished with every day that I waited, this is the longest process ever...

hi,

have you received your card yet? I re-submitted my photo pretty much the same day as you did.

Hey there,
Still not got my card.

I head to Mexico on Monday for a week. No time to get a PRTD. I change in Denver on the way back so if for some strange reason I can not fly direct to Vancouver I will go to Seattle from there. Not an expensive journey.
I've been told a few times I should be fine being from a Visa-waiver country anyway. I'm not too worried.

Hi Guys, I landed April 08 and have checked the new photo specification of 50mm x 70mm.

For those who landed in March and got their PR cards, is your photos on these sizes? Mine is still on the old specification 35mm x 45mm. I hope it will still be alright.

No. My photos were received by cic april 6th ( resubmission) . I have called them multiple times, they say they dont see ny updates, just the photo resubmit req on 31 march after which i sent them photos on april 4. No update thereafter. No xcitement left now. Time waste of life. funny thing is the time it takes for after re submitting photos is even longer than the time it takes to process new pr card request, so stupid. They just keep piling it. Country needs a dictator. This way its derailing.
