You just landed this year and I dont see why your PRTD will be refused. It is a simple process and wont take long to get it.

Sorry if i have hijacked the poster's concern. I have the same case, i would just want to cover all bases. I have a ticket already this May 13th, to land in Toronto and complete my PR process. But i have to go back to my home country to get married. I have a round trip ticket already leaving Toronto on the 19th to Manila then back to Toronto on the 2nd of June. Since, I won't have my PR card yet, I will apply for PRTD to be able to enter Canada. Will I be refused entry if the officer will ask me my status which will now be married? And I left Canada Single. Sorry, I'm might be paranoid, but I just want to make sure everything will be okay. Appreciate your help.

If you want you can try to check but they update it very late. As I called CIC and they said your card has been dispatched day before yesterday but they didn't update the status of my address but yes they usually update it after 4 to 5 days.

I was landed on 18th March and hopefully i will receive my card today or tomorrow.

I think March 5 to 16 applicants are getting now. I landed on April 9th. I think we need to wait at least this month. But good news is now the processing time 49 days.
