now the PR card needs 45 days

Hi Guys

Need your input.
I landed in Vancouver on 14th Oct, 2015.
My wife and daughter PR cards arrived a month ago and I was waiting for mine.
They sent a letter last week saying my photo does not match the requirement for the PR card and I need to send new photos.
I need to write at the back of the photo the date when the photo was taken and the photo studio which took it.
Now I am not in Canada right now.
So can I send the photo from an overseas photo studio in the current date or should I send the back dated photos from before the 14th of October (it still would match the 6 months requirement) which were taken in my home country?
I am sure others would have come across the same issue, so what did you guys do?
Would really appreciate your inputs.

Thanks

Exactly the same case as mine, but the difference is I had taken my photo in August so the 6 months period has passed. I have no other go but to take a new photo from my home country and send it again. I think in your case you can send the old photo provided the old photo you submitted had only issue with the photo size. The choice is yours.

Someone who submitted photo from home country after landing and received the PR Card can reply back please.

I raised a CSE under Express Entry. CSE is the only way we can communicate with them, why not use that option.

Hi anujgupta84

I have applied as FSW 2014 so I can't use Express Entry.

Please advise me what to do.

Have u received PR card or any update ?

Thanks

Hi, I will be landing soon after I received my Passport back.

Do I need (or) can I take photographs when I go for landing to give at Boarder office? I want to avoid these photographs request after landing. Its been 2 and half year after I visited my parents :( :( so I wanted to get PR card before I travel..

Your inputs and suggestions will help me a alot. Thanks!

I will be landing soon as well. Can we have any info on this ? thanks :D

Hello,

I have completed landing formalities on Jan 7th 2016 at Pearson Border crossing and waiting for my PR card. Submitted photos during landing itself. Does anyone have idea how long will it take if latest photos are submitted?

i heard that PR cards will be issued lately if landing is not done at airports, is this true?

You suppoust to send your photos with you PR application .
But I guess you can ask border office if you can give them , if not I will personally mail by courier to cic - 2 photos (new standard ) copy of singed COPR, 5455 form , Copy of passport and letter where you can write where and when you lend and reason why you mail them photos . cic will recive your paper from border after like , up to 3 weeks , so if you mail your photos by fedex like me , cic will recive your photos in 3/4 days .
I will personally do that !
I also get photo re taken request 140 gays after landing and mail as I mention( without explanation letter ) .
I hope this can help !

Just an update, i got the PR Card in the mail on 29 Feb (landed on Nov 21). I couldn't find the excel link to update my status.

Yup - you can cross the land border with your COPR.

You can cross the land border with COPR and passport only by a private car. For bus or train you still need a PR card.

Hi, can you give your photos to the Border Services when you land?

I was asked to send recent photos along with passport in PPR request, the same photo was attached in COPR letter by CIC.
