Don't read too much into the timing of updates to ECAS. I've seen enough variance reported by people on this forum over the past year that I'm convinced that it's a manual process and it's updated whenever a CIC agent actually remembers to update it. Sometimes it's early, sometimes it's late, and sometimes not at all. There have been people who have received their cards with no updates at all, and people that have their card status on ECAS who are still waiting. Thats correct. When i landed the agent just changed my address. I gave up even logging on to ECAS anymore. You'd have just as much luck stopping a random person on the street and asking them how long it takes.
