There's no problem leaving immediately, but make sure to come back with enough time to get the 2 year requirement done, and allow for unforeseen circumstances. If you go away for 3 years initially, you're essentially trapped in Canada until you can meet the residency obligation.

It is 4 years out of 6 years now for citizenship application, plus 183 days in last 4 years.
