Great new! However, do you know usually how long it takes for the mailing process? I need to travel outside Canada really soon next week.

Thank you bud.spaceexp said:Congratz! She was right, currently it takes 40-50 days for most people... You can get some other things sorted while you wait![]()

Yeah,Monday I'll go to service Canada and get a new SIN,then registry office and update Alberta healthcare, send of the child tax forms, tell the bank,my work, and the kids school.
So glad that hurdle is out of the way now!

Just so that you know, some people went to get SIN and the system wasn't updated. I waited 2-3 days until my ecas changed to "complete", and when I went for SIN their system was updated, too. Could be it was a coincidence, though, but don't get surprised if they tell you to come back later again.
C-Smix said:Hi everyone,
I landed in Toronto Pearson airport on 4th February 2015. I provided my relative's address in Toronto. After 1 week, I had to leave Canada and I left there on 11th February 2015. My PR card still is not received to my relative's address.
There is no new line on my ECAS as well. The last one is: "You entered Canada at the Lester B Pearson International Airport, Terminal No. 1 office on February 4, 2015 and became a Permanent Resident."
I am wondering how I can chase it while i am outside Canada? and How CIC informs me if there is any problem with my PR card?
Thanks
