Called CIC today was told card was mailed on 23rd March. Any idea as to how many days after mailing card is received.

I think latest by Tuesday you should receive it.

Called CIC on 27th March and got an update from the agent that the card is send today-27th March

Good evening! I received my (applicant) PR card today, but, my dependant PR cards have not yet been received. Any idea if they process dependant PR cards simultaneously or separately. Thanks! Goku, for the positive input as always. Hopefully you will have a positive reply to this query as well. Will call CIC again on Monday, 28th March to find out about dependant cards. The excruciating wait continues.

I wouldn't be worried, since some people reported receiving PR cards separately. Call them, nonetheless...

I landed on Dec 12. My card was mailed on Jan 26. But I received it on Feb 28. It was very crazy. I called CIC. They told me to call again March 9 (45 days wait between mailing and deadline). I called Canadapost multiple times.But no success.

I think that if it goes in production then it delays. From CIC perspective, it mailed but production did not mail yet.

I can understand your situtation.

But still, keep in touch with CIC. In case, they give any update.

Good luck. You should get card soon.

You should probably call again and find out to which address it was mailed, since it's passed the time they gave.

The wait is usually 4-8 weeks. I landed on Feb 16th, didn't get mine yet, so in your case I wouldn't expect it next week,maybe the week or two after.

Be sure to call CIC and check is your address updated in the system, because some people had problems with that.

CIC told me that my card was mailed out on March 11th, but I have not received it even till now (March 30th). I am hoping it can arrive soon, but what concerns me more is that Canadapost might loss my card in the mailing process. If thats the case, I can only inform CIC after 22th of April about the loss and then wait for another 2-3 months for a new card. This will definitely mess up my travel plan in the next few months, which is critical for my career. I am very unsatisfied with the reliability of the whole processing by CIC.

Finally the wait is over... Landed on 15 Feb at Victoria port of entry, received both PR cards for myself and my better half last Friday on March 27.

Total time: 40 days...
