Hi folks!
After I filed the request to amend my COPR letter in urgent matter I received a positive response in 2 weeks.
They reviewed my papers and issued me VERIFICATION OF STATUS letter containing all missing info from my original COPR.
Today I renewed my Health Card.
I am the happiest person ever!
Still waiting for the plastic PR card tho ;)

Hello
red_apple can you please ping me your number in my inbox. I have some question to ask you.

Hello Everyone,

I just landed on 28th of March 2014 and received my PR on 26th of June. However, I want to inquire about something, after receiving the PR, I have just came back home to UAE. In order to apply for the Canadian Passport, I must stay about 4 years there.
Now the question is ,
How does the immigration know how many days I stay in Canada? Especially that they don't stamp your passport or anything when you leave, it's just on the arrival.

Each time you travel out of country your passport or immigration document get scanned.

Hi guys, landed on the 10th of July. The long wait for the PRC begins! :P

Thanks Rawfile .wise decision it will be great if you still can catch your card at your lawyer office . I do not know if it will effect the processing time but personally to be sure I updated my infos in their system even the agent said he did it and definitely waiting for my home address to reappear in my ecas status .
Whaaaa,
I can understand your level of frustration. I too am frustrated while I wait for my love to receive his card. It has made me very emotional and I have said some very stupid things to the one person I love, out of frustration. Why don't you read the email I sent you, maybe it will help.
Bella

Pardon my French, but I think this is bullshit. If it were true, I would have received my card already. According to the spreadsheet, it looks more like 60+ days.

Have advised in my earlier post that we landed Toronto on th20th March,2014 and all of us left Canada on th3rd April except my son who remained there. More than 100 days have passed but PR has not been received at the given address. I have following question:

1. Can my son who is in Canada call CIC office and check status of our PR Cards on our behalf.

2. If not, can i appoint a lawyer to follow up with CIC for my PR Cards and represent me in case i am asked by CIC to
visit them in person for any clarification, etc.

Hope senior members can through some light on above.

Awaiting comments on this.

1. You can authorize your son on your behalf to know the status on your application.

2. I am not sure if appointing lawyer for PR card after all of your PR application is completed is a good idea.

From what I have seen in this forum, many ppl have received their PR cards with some delay due to verification. But there is no need to worry.
I have also not received my card so far! I keep calling CIC to know the status and address on file.

Better to confirm your address on your file just in case. I heard they messed up the address of some people.

hope will get some good news next week that PR card is printed.

Finally received my PR card yesterday - 3 months and 1 day after I landed.

Apparently, June 24th. So it took almost 3 weeks to get to me in the mail if you can believe that.
