thanks for your reply.

My wife will come back to Canada after six months and our CORP is valid more than that. So she can land when she comes back without any problem, right?

Just curious, if say i land on this week and still can i apply for TRV?

Yes. After your landing, you can always apply for TRV if you do not have your PR card while returning back to Canada.

Your wife can do the landing as long as her CoPR is valid.
If you are in need of PR cards, then you can do the landing now and give your friends' address in Canada and ask them to Courier the cards to you [with tracking number] once they receive them (I personally don't recommend it).

Thanks rawfile for your response.

One more question, why are you not recommending sending PR cards via courier? Are you concerned about safety of identity of cards or delivery issues?

Both safety and delivery issues!

I had to deal with customs in Canada for 2 days regarding my drivers license when I got it shipped from my home country.
But I have friends who got their PR cards shipped to their home country safely :)

Hey all,

Please add my case to the spreadsheet.

I landed on 26th April 2014 at YVR
Received my PR card yesterday (8th July 2014)

Hooorayy! :D

Called CIC call centre today. They told that my address is updated on 2nd June and my case is process. I will receive my PR by end of July.

I landed April 8th, and I dont have my PR card yet. Called CIC yesterday, the agent told me my pr card has not been printed yet. I called again today, and was told a request was sent to Calgary CIC office. She did mention that they need more information, may send me a form, my pictures might be wrong, and that I might need to go through further verification. I have no idea what she meant, when I asked for further clarification, she said just wait.
But I have been waiting for 3 months!!!! I have no idea whats going on and Im a little nervous.....hmmmm

I share your concern having landed on 20th March but no PR yet. CIC office wants us to follow up after 4 weeks as they are reviewing the file. It's quite frustating .

this is ridiculous! I already waited >1 yr for the PR, and on top of that more than 3 months for the card. If I didn't call CIC call centre yesterday they wouldn't have sent a follow-up email (I think) to CIC Calgary to find out whats going on. They need to figure out their business ASAP! So frustrating! ok Im done venting LOL :P

Have advised in my earlier post that we landed Toronto on th20th March,2014 and all of us left Canada on th3rd April except my son who remained there. More than 100 days have passed but PR has not been received at the given address. I have following question:

1. Can my son who is in Canada call CIC office and check status of our PR Cards on our behalf.

2. If not, can i appoint a lawyer to follow up with CIC for my PR Cards and represent me in case i am asked by CIC to
visit them in person for any clarification, etc.

Hope senior members can through some light on above.

Hi everyone Landed 6 May 2014. just received my PR card today :)

Hi folks!
After I filed the request to amend my COPR letter in urgent matter I received a positive response in 2 weeks.
They reviewed my papers and issued me VERIFICATION OF STATUS letter containing all missing info from my original COPR.
Today I renewed my Health Card.
I am the happiest person ever!
Still waiting for the plastic PR card tho ;)
