Congrats! I got mine too. It seems they really process them in a queue as first come first serve. Unlike how they handle the immigration applications.
Anyways now this is over and we can enjoy the summer :)

Re: PR apps, if it were me going through cases in order and I see one that's gonna be a lot harder than others, I may decide to shuffle that one to the back or put it aside for a while...

Wow, so they're processing cards for applicants who landed in March now, that's slower than ever. :(

Great news. Thanks for keeping us posted.
Well when I thought it was another month for me - that was one month ago. And looking at the processing time, another month now would still be optimistic. I have to travel out of the country in another 2.5 months - should be doable to receive the card by then I guess... but you never know.

Even if you don't get it on time, as a German citizen you won't have any issues returning to Canada without the PR card.

ghatot201 and ferna .kindly let me know how many days it took from landing to receieving the card in your hand?

one more question..does everyone get to see the pr card status on ecas or only some lucky ones are able to see it?
I don't see mine .its almost 60 days.

You wont see it until after 90 days (based on current processing times)

thanks..so they only update the ecas just before sending the card? I wanted to know atleast a week before as I share my mailbox with many ppl and its not always I get my mails :(

They update ecas with completed status under the PR section. 2 days after that you get your card. That should be sufficient indication.

no I mean before I actually receieve it , will there be a table telling '' under process'' , I just need to know because then I can check my mail box everyday. After I get the card, who cares what happens there :P
