Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Need advise on Urgent processing of PR card.
CIC sent wife's PR card to wrong address, I called them, they told we should fax "Solemn Declaration Concerning a Lost, Stolen, Destroyed or Never-Receivd PR card", and now they are reviewing applications from Sept 16 Shocked.
We have a travel ahead and it's frustrating to reschedule every thing because of their mistake Sad.
Could you let me know about any urgent option for processing?

You can apply for PRTD from outside Canada.

Landed 30 Oct via Niagara (Flag pole). Awaiting PR card and in a bit of a panic. Hadn't realised the new rules and I will be travelling on honeymoon on 18 Jan to Thailand for 2 weeks. I thought my PR card would have definitely arrived by now!!! Now I am thinking I could have missed something - should I have sent in a PR card application after flag poling or would I have filled that out at the border?? It's all a blur now.

I have been thinking about the same thing. I can do my landing now but just because i have to travel in a week i cant do my landing and I will have to wait till i return to Canada. Otherwise i will have to apply for some travel document which is a while new process that i cant go through anymore.

Can you guys tell em what is the landing process.
I want to go to Rainbow bridge for Landing.

I have US B1/B2 visa, but my wife don't have US Visa.
Does this mean both of us have to do flagpoling at border?

what are all the documents we need to take with us?
Do we need to take any photos with us?

In ur case i would suggest to do flagpoling .

Take ur passport along with COPR and Proof of Funds. I was on work permit i dont know why officer wanted to have POF while landing but anyways i was well prepared and was carrying almost all docs which i submitted while i made application. As far as photos are concerned though i was carrying but its not required.

By d way i landed at Rainbow bridge and lading was super fast and smooth. It was weekday and evening time.

I and my family were having US visa and we wanted to go US first and then landing .But when we went to US border to get new entry paper then US officer told me do landing first rather going to US . I wonder why but since officer was saying i went back though it wasn't flagpoling and did landing.

Just adding my case: My wife and I landed December 11, 2016 at the Peace Arch in BC. From the other posts in this thread, it sounds like we still have a long wait ahead of us before we receive our PR cards.

i did on 14th DEC. CIC website says 50 days , what u think it gonna be more ?

Your guess is as good as mine. If we're lucky our wait could just be 50 days, but some people on here seem to be waiting a lot longer than 50 days. I'm hoping it takes just 50 days, since that would mean my wait is already half over (25 days have passed since I landed).

I landed on Nov 1st, provided address for sending the card on Nov 3rd - still no card and I wonder maybe i missed something - do you need to apply for it in any kind of way after landing, or process is automatically when CoPR is processed at the airport?

How id you know that your PR card was approved on DEc 1st and mailed on Dec 6th? Did they email you or you checked the status in ECAS? Did you finally receive your card?

Hi Everyone,

I have landed on 20th Oct 2016 for a short landing. My Pr Card was approved on 1st December 2016 and mailed on 6th December. I havent received them as yet and still waiting.

How long it takes to be mailed to Toronto.

I have raised a CSE.

Anything else can I do. I am a bit worried.

i landed on Nov 28th 2016 in Coutts , AB. and still waiting. :-[
have seen processing times increased from 41 days to 50 days to 58 days now since then
looks like lot of vacation in CIC staff.
