I landed on 16th April , so far no PR card , called CIC thrice , told no delay as such , but have not received it yet !!

i have landed on 15th April, still not received my card. on 21 July they mailed me to resubmit new pictures. i did, and now still waiting.

Landed end of April, just received an e-mail with photo request even though had new photo specs on copr, maybe it was light-grey background that was initially accepted. Is it ok to send photos from abroad with foreign studio details to PO Box 4500 Sydney? Any personal experience will be appreciated.

The letter was sent to main applicant, does it automatically mean that dependants also need to provide their photos or not?

By the way, is it important that photographer writes my name and DOB or can I do it myself?

Dont know if this is the trick to avoid delay as they delayed it and now they can issue the card hence asking for photos? dont know. ??? :

. Already waited for long period but now for photo issue. Something is really wrong with their process or system that handles photos. Whole photo doesnt seem to be realistic for all cases.
Another episode of waiting for something from cic. ??? :

Dear all,

I too got a mail to send new photos for me and for my family, after 70 days of landing (24th may). What is really disappointing is these guys did not tell me when I called them last week and before that. The said, every thing was fine and nothing was required.

I called again today and the agent told me to submit new photos.

Any idea, how long it will take to get the PR cards, if I send the photos from Toronto today?

I landed on June 14, card was sent out on July 27 and received in mail on August 2.
You should be getting it anytime this week.

No email, just PR CARD in mail, unregistered mail.
