So the tracking website tells me that they do not have the Tracking Number/ DOB combination for my GCMS request. I do not understand. I tried with the correct dates and still nothing. Do you think my request was rejected or something?

Don't worry, there is nothing wrong with your request. Last time I received my notes on time and I remember that tracker didn't show up any results.

I got my gcms notes today..... the time it changed to "not needed at this time" from 'In Progress", was due to Application transfer from CIO to Ottawa... due to work re-distribution.

In review notes.....
it says R10 is ok.
education, age, criminality, PCC, medicals are all passed.

On 2nd page.. under Assessments...
eligibility and security - not started
criminality and medical - passed


anything I should look in specific for?

I applied for GCMS notes on 15-Dec and didn't receive by 14th Jan. So I dropped a mail to them on 15th and today I received this response:

"Thank you for contacting the Access to Information and Privacy Office.

We acknowledge that your request is now overdue. According to our records, your request was due on xx january 2016.

We have flagged your request as a priority and the information will be forwarded to you as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause.

In short drop a mail to them on 31st day of ordering your notes, someone will surely look into it. Calling on CIC number is pointless because they cannot help us for anything related to GCMS notes.

So finally, I got this kind of message from them.

I got my notes yesterday after applying on 21st December - bang on 30 days, I was pleasantly surprised to see it come exactly as stipulated!

Anyway, there's not much in the actual notes section, the most interesting thing for me was the time period between agent review (R10) and officer review was three months. To be fair it's hard to say what happened between those three months because the final entry for approval could have been the culmination of 1-2 months review by the officer.

FWIW, I was granted PR via FSW (Inland)

Hi,

I am new to this forum. But looking at Kvr007 notes its look like when his background check changed from 'in progress' to 'not needed' it means PCC, medical , education and age has already been verified by CIO and only work experience part is left which is done by CIC Ottawa office only. I am not the best person but in Express Entry except work experience everything is being verified by some agency like WES for education. IELTS by IDP or medical by prescribed doctors. So its easy for CIO to verify and send the file to CIC Ottawa for work experience as this is most tricky part and requires most expertise. Once work experience is verified officers calculate that you are eligible under CEC for FSW (which requires 67 points)

Also people who have got there PPR by going through the spreadsheet have there AOR's back before November and we may get some PPR rain in October when CIC Ottawa processes our application.

That is weird i applied on 22 and got it on 21 so not a month though ... You can call and ask them to just to make sure they send it to right email, so many cases that they are trying to send but bec of wrong email address people didn't get it on time ..
